Monday Can't Beat That Day

Saskatchewan won the football game, ice cream at Tim Hortons, Good friends and fellowship, evening spent with our grandkids what more could a couple of kids like Diane and I ask for.  As a couple we stand united and commited to our marriage and family, but most of all we are committed to a loving God that will use us to expand His kingdom here on earth, in our communities, our nieghbourhood, our work place our homes and our families.  

Monday's Prayer Time

We all need prayer so join us and let's pray,

Heavenly Father we love you and praise your name above all names. Please hear the cry of hurting hearts. Lord we ask that you intervene and bring healing to lives and relationships. We don't fully understand why things have happened the way that they have, but Lord please let your glory shine and souls be won to the Kingdom of Heaven.
Oh Lord, many are in circumstances that are hard to comprehend let alone bear. Please bring your courage, strength and the power of the Holy Spirit as your anointed presence surrounds all those involved.
Send your angels to protect and comfort these dear hearts that are hurting. We ask for patience and courage to wait upon you with our faith and trust. Let us see through your eyes with love dear Jesus, at each other. Let us know that no matter what happens that as we ask this, "not by our will" but by "Your will" be done.
Please give us the "strength of faith to trust" that "you are" in the circumstances. That Your righteousness prevails. We wish to see through spiritual eyes full of faith in the face of all these trials and troubles. Lord let us see Your truth of what lies beyond these troubles. Let us keep our minds and hearts focused upon you and Heaven to come. We love you Lord and give you the glory, In Jesus Name we ask all this. Amen.

Rest now in the anointing of the Lord's peace. Give Him all your trust even though things may look bad. He really does love us and that is not just a cute, saying but the truth. You are loved as a kind loving father loves his child. For in truth, you are our Father God's child. Sometimes, no matter how old we get, we just need a great big hug. Can you see His arms opened, waiting? Do you need a hug?

Sunday Sonshine

Our day started as we headed to New Life Church in Kindersley.  We'd hear a lot about this humble little church located in the center of oil bathed Kindersley.  Shortly after our arrival it was clear to the pastor that everyone new us but him self.  Pastor Jonathon Bloomfield and his wife came to Kindersley from out East and you'll never guess who helped to get him to stay in our fine province. None other than our own great pastor Lyle.  So we had a great opportunity to do a full presentation and then spend time with Pastor Jonathan and his wife for lunch getting to know them and their passion for serving God.

We all make choices every day and our choice to know, live and share Jesus love and mercy daily is not an option.

SUNDAY'S PRAYER

Everyone has a free choice to live a life of "sin," or to live a life of grace, in the Salvation of Jesus Christ as their Lord and Savior. People may have made wrong choices in their lives, but that doesn't mean that they have to remain living in those wrong choices. Jesus is always there reaching out to us with all of His love. It is "our choice" to "accept Him into our lives" or not.
If you haven't yet gotten down and humbly asked the Lord into your life then you need to. If your pride is holding you back, let it go now. You don't need pride keeping you from Heaven. Please know that no matter what you may have done, it is never too late to clean up and clear up the past. It doesn't matter what sins you have committed in your life, God is a good God who loves you more than you will ever know. Yes it is really true, Jesus does "love" you with His whole heart. If you have never said the Salvation prayer or you just feel that you need to, say it now with your whole heart.

"Salvation Prayer"

Lord Jesus, I’ve been a sinner for as long as I can remember. I never knew the joy that I could have by accepting you into my life. I know that you hear my prayers. I need you to be my Savior. You have always been there loving me, through everything in my life.
Forgive me for all of my sins. I am so sorry for the way I have acted, and the way that I have behaved towards you and others. You died on the cross for me. You loved me that much, how can I ever thank you enough for loving me like that.
Forgive me for all of the things that I have done. Please come into my life to wash away all of my sins. I desire eternal life with you. Be my Savior and Lord of all my life. I want to be in Heaven with you for eternity and feel your love. I worship you and thank you Jesus, with every bit of gratitude and love that I can feel towards you. I love you Lord Jesus, with all of my heart. In Jesus’ name, Amen.

Saturday

 

WOW what a great wedding and lots of old friends to get caught up on life with. Jonah and Kyla have been a part of our lives since they showed up at camp as little kids.  They never fail to still include us as part of their family's.  We also had opportunity to glean info from friends that could help us with a few situations at the ranch P.T.L.  Can't wait for the big game tomorrow. 

Noah's Ark  A lot of thing's we need to know, we can learn from Noah's Ark . ONE: Don't miss the boat. TWO: Remember that we are all in the same boat! THREE: Plan ahead. It wasn't raining when Noah built the Ark. FOUR: Stay fit. When you're 60 years old, someone may ask you to do something really big. FIVE: Don't listen to critics; just get on with the job that needs to be done. SIX: Build your future on high ground. SEVEN: For safety's sake, travel in pairs. EIGHT: Speed isn't always an advantage.. The snails were on board with the cheetahs. NINE: When you're stressed, float awhile. TEN: Remember, the Ark was built by amateurs; the Titanic by professionals. ELEVEN: No matter the storm, when you are with God, there's always a rainbow waiting.  (Give !!  Don't just get.)  Most people walk in and out of your life.......but FRIENDS leave footprints in your heart

Friday's Frenzy

Back filling septic tanks (but not all the way till we have our inspection) starting the plumbing, after we found a reliable plumbing company to get the job done.  Guardian Plumbing and Heating a new plumbing and heating shop with a foundation of integrity and commitment to being the best by serving the best. 

We are moving ahead a great pace but we desperatley need a welder and his truck out at the ranch tomorrow at Saturday's workday, if you or someone that yo know could help us please call or just come on out to the ranch tomorrow. Thank you so much.

We got a letter from the Alberta waste water management corp. and I am now a certified private waste water management installer.  e are off to a wedding n Kindersley this weekend and then we are blessed to be able to do a ranch presentation at the New Life Church.

FRIDAY'S PRAYER

O Dear Lord,
grant that I may not so much seek to be consoled
as to console;
to be understood as to understand;
to be loved as to love.

For it is in giving that we receive;
It is in pardoning that we are pardoned,
and it is in dying that we are born to eternal life.

Thursday A Day of Change

Another long day as we got all the septic 

tanks into place.  The last load of tanks showed up about 8:30 .  And I had the chance to ride into Lloydminister with the driver at 5:30 and he dropped me off at home I told him I had a meeting at 7:00 and he needed a couple of hours  to go back up north and pick up the last two septic tanks and he would be able to pick me up at the house at 8:00 to head back out to the ranch with the last load.  On the way into town we talked a bit and he had a lot of questions about the ranch.  On the way back we talked more and he shared a bout some hurts in his life .  I told him about a choice we all have and that God deserved a chance in is life, and he agreed to consider that option.  Once at the ranch we got all the tanks into place and we gave him a cross and told him we would be praying for him daily and then he was on his way. 

We are so thankful to North West Precast for their donation of the septic tanks to the ranch and to deliver them on the day that we needed them.  Every donation helps us to get that much closer to doing what God has called us all to do at the ranch.  Thank you every one that made it all so possible.

Because you have a past

You can't go back, but He can. The Bible says, "Jesus Christ the same yesterday and today, and forever" (Hebrews 13:8) He can walk into those places of sin, failure and hopelessness, wipe the slate clean and give you a new beginning. A beginning with a real and lasting future, full of hope.

Jesus knows the worst about you, yet he believes the best. Why? Because He sees you not as you are, but as you will be when He gets through with you. What a friend!

Because He holds the future

Who else are you going to trust? In his hands you are safe and secure - today, tomorrow and for eternity. His word says, "For I know the plans I have for you ...plans for good and not evil, to give you a future and a hope. In those days when you pray I will listen". (Jeremiah 29:11-13 TLB)

LORD JESUS CHRIST

I am sorry for the things I have done wrong in my life. I ask Your forgiveness and now turn from everything that I know is wrong. Thank You for dying on the cross for me to set me free from my sins. Please come into my life and fill me with your Holy Spirit and be with me forever. Thank you Lord Jesus, Amen.

Wednesday

We are all very tired today as we realize more each day that we have only 4 weeks to go till the annual fundraiser.  We are looking forward to the septic tanks arriving tomorrow and getting them into the ground. We have all our sons working with us and could never accomplish what needs to be done without their help.  Joel Armstrong one of our board members from Kelowna has been helping with everything and right now all the help we can get is such a blessing.  Dave spent time with Joel as they worked on getting all the holes dug for the tanks.

Wednesday Prayer

Too often we underestimate the power of a touch, a smile, a kind word, a

listening ear, an honest compliment, or the smallest act of caring, all

of which have the potential to turn a life around. People come into our

lives for a reason, a season, or a lifetime! We need to embrace all equally!

God still sits on the throne. You may be going through a tough time

right now but God is getting ready to bless you in a way that only He

can. Keep the faith. Give God a chance. Or you have been blessed abundantly and understand that it is all in God's hands and He knows our hearts just the way they really are.

Here is our prayer for you:

Father, I ask You to bless or continue to bless our friends and relatives

reading this right now. Show them a new revelation of Your love and

power. Holy Spirit, I ask You to minister to their spirit at this very

moment. Where there is pain, give them Your peace and mercy. Where there

is self-doubt, release a renewed confidence through Your grace. Bless

their homes, families, ministries, finances, and their goings and their comings. In

Jesus' precious name, Amen.
