Thursday and we are set

We are ready for the roof on the lodge and as we call out for help God is providing his people from far and wide to put a cap on the lodge.

JC inspections finished the welding needed.

Looks like we could have a baby horse on the way at least they were working on it today. Mark the calendar.

Pro lift will stand the outer walls this week and set the beams back up on top ready for the rafters.

Wednesday and wonderful

As we headed home a big bull moose trudged across the highway and made it's way across the field with a somber sullen look about him. We figure he must have lost his mate and was thinking he might as well spoil someone elses day and take a walk down the highway.

We have the outside beams up and in place and secured and ready for rafters and do they look good and strong.

We have a cement mixer like the one we needed to mix floor crete. and a neighbour gave us a windmill that blew over the night the lodge went down it did get some damage but we know a friend that knows a friend that fixes wind mills.

Ephesians 6:13-19 The armour of God - for you and me try it it works

Therefore we put on the full armour of God so that when the day of evil comes we may be able to stand our ground, and after we have done everything to stand, we'll stand firm then, with the belt of truth buckled around our waists.

Lord we put on the belt of truth. We choose a life style of honesty and integrety. Show us the truths we so desperatley need today. Expose the lies we're not even aware that we are believing.

With the breastlate of righteousness in place. And yes Lord, we wear your righteousness today against all condemnation and corruption. Fit us with your Holiness and Purity, defend us from all assults against our hearts.

And with our feet fitted with the readiness that comes from the gospel of peace. We do choose to live for the gospel at any moment. Show us were the larger story is unfolding and keep us from being so lax that we think the most important thing today is soap opera's of this world.

In addition to all this, we take up the shield of faith, with which we can exstingwish all the flaming arrows of the evil one. Jesus we lift against every lie and every assult the confidence that you are good, and that you have good instore for us. Nothing is coming today that can overcome us because you are with us.

We take the helmet of salvation. Thank you Lord, for our salvation. We recieve it in a new and fresh way from you and we declare that nothing can seperate us now from the love of Christ and the place we shall ever have in your Kingdom.

And we take the sword of the spirit, which is the word of God. Holy Spirit, show us specifically today the truths of the word of God that we will need to counter the assults and snares of the enemy. Bring them to mind throughout the day. And we pray in the Spirit on all occasions with all kinds of prayers and requests. With this in mind, we'll be allert and always keep on praying for all the saints.

Finally, Holy Spirit, we agree to walk in step with you in everything -- in all prayer as our spirits commune with you thoughout the day...

We also pray, that when ever we open our mouths, words may be given to us so that we will fearlessly make known the mystery of the gospel.

Tuesday and walking the miracle mile

Thanks to Dick and Judy Serack for the welding truck and JC nspections for the welder what a huge blessing as we can do a lot of the welding ourselves and yet we have many professional welders that are just a call away for the tougher jobs.

Thanks to Copps Pilings of Red Deer for helping us to get our piles into place, we were going to do them out of concrete but with all the sand it was a much better way to go with 8" steel pipe piles. this will be the support for the walkway around the lodge and also support the 8' over hang around the lodge, the pipe and delivery was from Flint thank you so much.

Thank you to our church family that never stop blessing the ranch and always seem to know the right and thoughtful things to encourage and bless. Please remember that the weekend of October 15 we hope to raise the roof on the lodge, if you can come we would be blessed.

Monday and here we go

How do we thank you enough for all you've done was what we said after God put it on the hearts of so many today as the ranch was again blessed and as we move ahead by faith in God's provision He is faithful. Friday and so forgiven

Bit of a roller coaster ride today as the piling company that was to pound in our piles today phoned and said they were unable to help us with our piles as they had too many bookings to help. So now what we need an option as we desperately need those piles in to move the lodge ahead and get the roof on. Let go and let God was all we could do, as anything else was just too depressing. Well once we let it go and set in the right hands we went on to do other things that needed to be done around the place, like skirting need to be completed and it did, replace counter top in kitchen and we started on that repair some wiring under trailer and we got that done also. But then by 4:30 everything changed and we were back on track and we had a new company helping us out and looks like the piles will be in tomorrow,PTL.

Our new to us lawn mower arrived safe and sound and we also got some lawn cut along the road ways.

Harold and Diane Stephan left a life filled with addictions and bad choices. Their journey has taken them through different twelve step programs and life recovery through a relationship and healing process with Jesus Christ. If it were not for caring people in their lives that never gave up on them or thought they were a hopeless cause they too would still be lost.
