Thursday and movin on with Jesus

Not enough hours in the day to get err all done. To be a part of a plan and blessing of God is to much to ever hope for but yet it doesn't have to be out at the ranch even though this is a great place to experience the blessing. When you are walking in His purpose right now and as we look at the path we are on and the choices we need to make the hope we all are looking for every day is all in the next choice we make.

New life is happening all around us as it does every spring and that's no different than our lives every day. Every day is a new chapter in the story if our lives and the words that come out of that chapter each reflect the choices we made. Why put your life to chance when God has the whole plan ready for each of us to just accept. But I guess a lot of folks just like to gamble and go with chance or what ever will be will be.

Joey and James stopped in for lunch today and we did a great job of filling their bellies, Camron returned to help get the window wells in and James and Larry got more of the roof sheeting in place. I kept very busy moving dirt and leveling out the ground for the man lift to be able to move around the house safely.

Board meeting night and always excited to meet with a group of dedicated men as we plan and build the Kingdom of God.

Lord Jesus, grant that I and my spouse may have a true
and understanding love for each other.

Grant that we may both be filled with faith and trust.

Give us the grace to live with each other in peace and harmony.

May we always bear with one another's weaknesses and grow from each other's strengths.

Help us to forgive one another's failings and grant us patience, kindness, cheerfulness and the spirit of placing the well-being of one another ahead of self.

May the love that brought us together grow and mature with each passing year.

Bring us both ever closer to You through our love for each other.

Let our love grow to perfection.

Amen.

YOU HAVE A UNIQUE PURPOSE

We are all so unique and special to God that our lives should daily be waiting in anticipation of God plan for us. But we do need to be ready and prepared cause,

1 Corinthians 2:9 "No eye has seen, no ear has heard, no mind has conceived what God has prepared for those who love him" —

Probably the most misunderstood situation ever to occur is that we each and every one of us has a history. A history that includes the goodness of a God a God that loved us so much that He gave His one and only son to take away the sin of the world, and he is waiting to take you back. Yet so many today choose or have in the past chosen to walk away and trust in what ever feels good at the moment, or trusting in them selves and their own strength or trust in nothing at all and then to wonder why there seems to be no hope. A life with out hope is like a motor cycle with out a battery and spark. It's a lot of work to push that bike every where, you look good with that bike beside you but the only way to look good is by a lot of work to push that bike every where. Why not put a battery in and and ride that machine the way it was made to be ridden and get places that it can get you. That's like our lives with out God, we try everything but never get any where, the brakes always seem to be on, that could also be called pride and ego and when God isn't invited into our lives we will never find the purpose we were created to be. With out knowing the purpose of a life, that life flounders like a boat lost at sea, tossed and thrown every where and goes into eternity never knowing what it's purpose was.

Right now if you feel lost and with out hope there is some one out there that will spend time with you and listen, some one that won't betray you or laugh at you, but will be a true friend a friend like you never knew before. You probably know who it is already but you have been afraid to take that step or make the call.

Jeremiah 29:11 (NIV)

For I know the plans I have for YOU,"declares the LORD,

plans to prosper YOU and

not to harm YOU,

plans to give YOU hope and a future.

Wednesday 's blessings and blessings....

So many projects an area's to work on out at the ranch. The blessing is that God always provides the men and equipment at just the right time. What ever the need if we only ask it seems to be provided. Gods is good all the time. We have the back filling completed and it looks great. The backs hoe we have been blessed with is just what we needed. Camron arrived yesterday to help and stuck with James on the roof sheeting. Larry picked up a whack load of cement from Kirk that will come in handy very soon. We have done a permanent hookup to the main electrical box and built a temporary wall to hand it on.

A couple heading to Anchoridge Alaska from Florida heard about the ranch and came out and spent a few hours taking it all in.

Road construction continues on the #17 and it looks like we are in for a nice wide road.

George and Alden showed up today with their root tillers and did a number on the tree PTL.

Once again with all our hearts we thank you for what is a miracle forming before our eyes, and the blessing, that we get to be a part of as we do the will of God. We all have the opportunity to make a difference in the lives of those we love and to build hope for the next generation with all that we have been blessed with. Some of you have said,"I don't have much to help with", but it's not how much you help with, it's the condition of our hearts that God works with, and as He sees us use what ever we have to do His work here while we can that's when the miracles happen, all for the cause of Christ? It's that fork in the road,the channel we can use, and a choice among many that God gives us every day to be kingdom builders. Monday and we've come so far

Cold, cold, cold today but still we were able to get a lot accomplished, Larry spent a lot of time doing bracing for James on the roof that is so important and He's doing a great job as usual.

I got more of the backfilling done and hopefully enough that we can get the man carrier along side of the liege safely.

We have another family of eggs right in the lodge this year Larry found them up in the rafters on the main floor and we will take picture and monitor the process so you can guess what king of bird we are watching.

Also got to celebrate Melissa and Amber's birthdays out at the Willis farm and as usual all were fed well and there was an abundance of fun and fellowship.

'In the last days', God says, 'I will pour out my Spirit on all people. Your sons and daughters will prophesy, your young men will see visions, your old men will dream dreams'. Acts 2:17 Nearly everything we see and experience in this world that comes from the efforts of our fellow man is the result of what was once only a dream or vision. The computer you are reading this from or the chair you are seated in, were first in the mind of a person.That's the power in dreaming or in visions. One man,,William Lloyd Garrison had a dream/vision to abolish slavery. He dared to dream this in a day (early 1800's) when slavery in the US was economically profitable. Note, even the influential governing body of one church declared that slavery was instituted by God. But Garrison had a dream, a vision. For over 30 years he risked his life and fortune to publish a newspaper called the Liberator.He is one of many examples that continued on believing in his dream and it became reality.I wonder where the seed of that dream started, hmmm....

When you discover your purpose, you will feel it's demand. It will fill you with enthusiasm and a desire to get to work on it. Sometimes you will awake with new thoughts and ideas and know that God is guiding you in this purpose. Or maybe we will be caught up in someone else's dream/vision and be part of it to help bring it along and into reality.Be mindful to test it, check in with Holy Spirit's direction.

Do not conform any longer to the pattern of this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind. Then you will be able to test and approve what God's will is—his good, pleasing and perfect will.Rom12:2

God's word says, ASK, SEEK, KNOCK, ....do we believe in the dream of a Better Canada with strong families and communities? Are we having faith in evidence not always seen?He says have faith, stand firm, I will never leave you nor forsake you...we are to be His hands & feet.Sometimes it's hard to hang on and fight the good fight but again He says, do not grow weary in well doing.

They that wait upon the Lord will renew their strength, they will mount up on wings as eagles...

His word says where two or more are gathered and are in agreement.....

So, prayer partners, continue to stand in the gap praying for each other and our government that is and all that work towards a better Canada; and that Godly men and women in these positions will choose to stand firm. That those in authority at all levels of government will look to do the right thing for the people of this nation.May they choose to listen to the Still, Small voice that speaks to them in their dreams.

For God also says, " I know the plans I have for you...."

Praise be to our Father, Son, Holy Spirit....Hallelujah!

Thank you once again for taking the time to view our blog.The Battle River Ranch Camp is a non profit organization that is focused on developing trades, life skills and training opportunities for men and women that are searching and find it difficult to get the opportunities needed to develop a productive life skill. Many men and women today have no idea what they could be good at or how to find out their possible skill area or level. We are a faith based training center.

Harold and Diane Stephan left a life filled with addictions and bad choices. Their journey has taken them through different twelve step programs and life recovery through a relationship and healing process with Jesus Christ. If it were not for caring people in their lives that never gave up on them or thought they were a hopeless cause they too would still be lost.

Saturday So Blessed so about Jesus

The ranch Saturday work day was once again well attended by young and old and so much was accomplished. It's always exciting as church leaders phone ahead and are now booking in advance weekends to bring their youth groups out for a lot of fresh air, fellowship and as one youth leader said to me today what an opportunity to rub shoulders with others working together and to see so much accomplished for the kingdom of God.

James has designed a set of stairs to go down the outside of the house to the basement out of the steel that was donated by Action towing and with the help and commitment of Ryan from JC welding we will have a really nice set of strong steps for this entrance to the basement. Thanks to Ryan and JC welding for their support and standing by the ranch project.

Wheelbarrows were moving everywhere today as a team were also working at filling in holes out at the horses pasture area. Joey and Durrant kept busy working on the boiler system so we may have hot water soon.

A new couple to the ranch arrived on their motorcycle today and spent time looking around and finding out just what the ranch was all about. They were very impressed and assured us they would be back.

As a team of volunteers worked at leveling the sand in the lodge basement as we are nearing the time to pour concrete and hope to be able to prepare and pour our own concerte when the time comes.

The Battle River Ranch Camp is a one of a kind entry level trades and life skills development center. Offering an option to anyone that has been searching for an opportunity to find out their area of strength and work place career possibilities.

Our hope and prayer is to let as many of you know about the ranch as possible so that the hope it will bring and the lives it will change and the encouragement it will provide can start as soon as possible. The ranch will be a one of a kind facility and will offer an option to many like no other.

When God has a plan and like our friend Mike and Pastor Lyle wisely told us just keep your focus and don't let the distractions pull you away from God's purpose. Because you have a past

You can't go back, but He can. The Bible says, "Jesus Christ the same yesterday and today, and forever" (Hebrews 13:8) He can walk into those places of sin, failure and hopelessness, wipe the slate clean and give you a new beginning. A beginning with a real and lasting future, full of hope.

Because you need a friend that won't let you down

Jesus knows the worst about you, yet he believes the best. Why? Because He sees you not as you are, but as you will be when He gets through with you. What a friend!

Because He holds the future

Who else are you going to trust? In his hands you are safe and secure - today, tomorrow and for eternity. His word says, "For I know the plans I have for you ...plans for good and not evil, to give you a future and a hope. In those days when you pray I will listen". (Jeremiah 29:11-13 TLB)

LORD JESUS CHRIST

I am sorry for the things I have done wrong in my life. I ask Your forgiveness and now turn from everything that I know is wrong. Thank You for dying on the cross for me to set me free from my sins. Please come into my life and fill me with your Holy Spirit and be with me forever. Thank you Lord Jesus, Amen.

while we are here on this earth but very few know about the option we have available to us

when it comes to eternity. God really does love you, Jesus really died for you and the

Holy Spirit will come and live in you. Just give Him a chance today
