How great is our God

Saturday work day has got to have a new name and image. Each and every Saturday turns into blessing after blessing as , neighbors, LGF our church family along with contractors and other churches from the area continue to bless God's plan out here at the ranch.
Diane and many worked hard and with an abundant supply of special TLC that goes a long way in our family and friends as they made a wonderful and tasty lunch that made us want to have a good old sleep.
With grass groomed and park like appearance we are getting a lot of comments and curiosity from the thousands of travelers that pass by each day and witness the God's love and care for us all at work.
The week winds down again with so many blessings as the vision and destiny of the ranch come ever more into focus.
Within a short time the RTM site will be a buzz with activity as materials begin to arrive and this portion of the vision unfolds.
Hope for more plans also are unfolding into such a view of God's plan to reach a world of lost sinners by the love he pours into willing servants.
This week we are overwhelmed with the heart of God being poured out to the ranch as all the kitchen cabnets and installation have been donated, a new rigid chop saw and stand, a gravel truck, more food, and to top it all off a quarter section of land on the east side of Saskatchewan will be donated if we will start a trades and life skills ranch over there.
A very neat couple strongly encouraged us this week to press on as they shared that the reason God is so blessing the ranch vision is because it comes from the heart. They shared with us about how the Wright bros. developed a craft that flew out of their little bicycle shop and how corporations with all the money and worldly knowledge couldn't lift off and the reason these two were able to accomplish what seemed impossible was that it all came from the heart.
We continue to pray that we would always seek first the Kingdom of God.
As I shared the blessing with a friend about the ranch he replied "what do you expect when you HOPE FOR MORE more is what you get. Go figure!!!!
Please pray as Diane and I have a church service to speak at and two presentations to make Monday about the ranch.
We also will be pouring concrete on the main floor Tuesday and really need some strong help to get it done. A great menu will be offered to bless us as usuall.

History repeats with pleasure

Great day out here at the ranch as we were able to move the rest of the top soil on the north side of the entrance road. We are using the top soil to build a berm along the east side of the property. At this point we have room for about 40 - 50 campers and about 200 vehicles. As we continue to clear ground heading north these numbers should easily double. The open area will also allow for semi parking and turning.

Also got a fence built around the garden to keep our horses and donkey out and give the plants half a chance to grow into a blessing. Hopefully rapture will keep the deer out as well.

Blaine, Elisa and our grandchildren were over for supper and then the family headed over to move them onto their new home and their first nights sleep there. What a beautiful home they are blessed to have. Thinking back on all the homes we have built together and the blessing of working together, helping each other, learning from each other and growing stronger as a family.
Remembering Blaine as a youngster and Jacqui just born and we were moving into the beautiful Rutley Cres. Home. Now helping Blaine and Elisa move with their family into a bigger home to make room for everyone.

Off to the ranch in the morning to get a whole lot more done so of your looking for some time on blessed ground come on out and receive a blessing. We would love to see you and be blessed.

First impressions

Our burm is almost ready for grass and signage this is a huge addition to the beautiful ranch entrance thanks to the hard work and diligence of Greg Peterson and Ben and Staff of White Fire Homes.

Simon was a part of the team that worked on gopher population reduction and a chance to try out his new shot gun. Thankyou and well done Simon.

All is well as we continue to be overwhelmed with those committed to the on going building of the Battle River Ranch and the Kingdom of God.
Several times I have been asked what we mean by the Kingdom of God and from the understanding I get from the Bible is that our kingdom is ruled by a king who is Jesus. And those that choose to live as part of that kingdom are those that live lives that reflect the example of the King.
Jesus our King gave everything for those He loved and he did love everyone. As we seek to live lives that bring honor to God and help those in the world we live in to know Him every day through our actions, our deeds, our thoughts and our love we are a part of the kingdom of God.
Jesus brought hope to the world now and forever we are called to bring that same hope to the world we live in. Our families, neighbors, co-workers were ever our walk takes us each day.

Mothers day

As long as we remember our family has celebrated mothers day together and sometimes due to life we are short several family members but we pray for them and miss each one. No doubt many families are having empty chairs at thier tables and our hearts ache when this happens. Diane was so blessed as always at this day that recognizes the importance of mothers . Mothers know more than anyone the importance of family, the strength and love that God ordained and made as a priority in society.

In a broken and fallen world so many are desperate for a life that can be called their family.
