Thursday the day of change

We are so excited about our V8 natural gas generator that is now ready go to work. What a blessing from Dale and Sharri Wills as they have come along side with us to do what we can to help the many that are seeking a hand up and the opportunity to find out the skills they are best suited for. I had a gentleman say to me the other day that no one ever helped me and I sure don't plan on helping any one else. This statement pretty much sums up the reason we are in the mess we are in and it's not a new situation as history will tell any of us who take the time to seek it, that when selfishness and greed consumes a society it will crumble under under it's me centered ideology. I spoke with a businessman the other day and he said that not long ago one of his employees had trouble with the truck he was driving on highway 17 south and needed help when he went to the door of a local well established farmer the door was slammed in his face with out a word. Day after day I watch and marvel at Dave. A 64 year young man that could sit back ride his big motorcycle and enjoy the good life and his retirement years. But instead he allows God to use all and I mean all his years of talent, wisdom and a love for the betterment of mankind the building of the Battle River Ranch Camp. If Dave could move into the neighbourhood now he would and his family would follow.

Blaine spent some time with us as he went over the operation of the new pipe threader that will do a lot of work at the ranch starting today P.T.L.

Atco electric spent the day with us as they did all the prep work for the crew as they hope to settle in shortly to do our Electrical installation. We have never worked with such great people some are even wanting to come and help on weekends and are asking what they can do WOW.

Vermillion County Gas has done so much to help us as we plan the complete layout and prepare for years of growing our community.

Alexander is the son of and financial advisor from Regina, he is a top student and very athletic. Alexander is training to be a runner but chose to spend a week now and possibly another week next month as he see the need for himself and many of his friends at the ranch.

Durrant who's father is a Dr. and mother is a nurse has spent over three weeks a the ranch helping and learning how he can be a more well rounded and efficient member of society soon. No one else will show us these thing we hear all he time. And it's one way they can learn what it means to be a volunteer and to be a person that sees beyond ones self.

Thursday Prayer

Heavenly Father we love and worship you. We glorify your mighty name above all names. Everytime we pray to you Lord we feel such a humble love. A deep gratitude for all that you have done in making the Battle River Ranch a reality.
Lord being our precious Savior You healed the lepers, the blind and the lame. We know that You can heal our hurts and sorrows. You are the same yesturday, today and forever. Your Word says that in Hebrews 13:8. Your desire is for all of your children to accept Salvation and join you in Heaven. We know that You desire none of us to suffer an eternity without You. This is your desire and it is your will. Your Word says it!
Lord we know that you allow things to come into our lives for a reason. The greatest of which is to save souls for your kingdom. By your name Lord Jesus Christ and by Your authority please bind Satan and cast him away.
Lord we ask you by your blood and saving grace, to touch mightly this situation and bring about Your healing and Salvation. Lord our hearts cry out to you. We need your love and understanding, as we go through these hurts, trials and challenges. Please surround all of us including all our nieghbours with Your beautiful angels bringing us peace, comfort, protection and wisdom.
Please help all of us to see through your eyes with a solid strength of faith. Help us to walk in the Holy Spirit power of faith. A faith like we have never had before. Thank you sweet Jesus and in your name. Amen

Please know that we just said this prayer with you, even though you can't see us in person. Our prayer "is" joined with yours. We believe that the Lord honors prayers and that He will honor this one. He knows your heart, and He knows ours right now. We prayed this prayer for you with all of the faith that we have. It is a "real prayer" and it has been said with our full "real amount of faith."

Please rest easy now and try walking through this whole situation with the "eyes of Jesus in faith." It doesn't matter what your fleshly eyes see or how you are feeling. Faith goes much more beyond that. Faith sees things having happened already even though it hasn't. Look down the road a few years from now and see the good to come. Now keep that good vision in your mind and believe strongly, trusting in the Lord. Hold your head up and walk believing and knowing that God is with you and that you are "not" alone. God bless you. AMEN

Wedndsday Report

AGAIN TODAY THE CALLS FOR INFORMATION AND PRESENTATIONS Was overwhelming, we need to thank so many of you that are sharing the ranch project with their family and friends. Today we met with a teacher, parents and a police officer all willing to do what ever it takes to help us to get up and going. We also had a huge donation from Habitat for Humanity today as all our lighting for the new shop is now in place. Also we need to thank the huge number of you that have been calling or dropping in to say that you are praying for us constantly.

I do have a camera in my possession once again and hope that tomorrow new and updated pictures will be provided.

Dave completed the back filling of the new gas line trench to our generator.

This evening Joey and many others headed out to the ranch to build a fence for the new heard of horses to arrive next week.

Our tools and equipment needs are still huge and so if you have any thing that we could use and you can spare to be used in building the Kingdom of God and help to teach, please give us a call as to how you or your company can receive a tax receipt for your donation.

We also ask that you would consider a generous tax deductible donation to this important project as we could never have gotten this far with out your help. Ever donation no matter the size is very much appreciated and needed. Over the past 40 and more years we have met a lot of friends and are so thankful for the help you have shown to us and this project.

Don't forget the middle of nowhere conference in Chauvin this weekend and bring your friends, this will be a great weekend event for the whole family, see you there .

Philippians 4:19 (New International Version)
