Mondays momentum

James 1:2-8 (NIV)

2Consider it pure joy, my brothers, whenever you face trials of many kinds, 3because you know that the testing of your faith develops perseverance. 4Perseverance must finish its work so that you may be mature and complete, not lacking anything. 5If any of you lacks wisdom, he should ask God, who gives generously to all without finding fault, and it will be given to him. 6But when he asks, he must believe and not doubt, because he who doubts is like a wave of the sea, blown and tossed by the wind. 7That man should not think he will receive anything from the Lord; 8he is a double-minded man, unstable in all he does.

Up bright and early, had a great breakfast with Val and then off to Moose Jaw for a visit with Blaine and Joey. Met up with friends and had some time to visit, checked out the new arena, picked up some grease to re grease a wheel on the trailer and then we met Kathy at the App. church front door where some friends came out and spent some time with us. They were excited as they were getting ready for their celebrate recovery session.

Val was able to repair my glasses with her supply of duct tape and we were of and on the road to Saskatoon.

Back in Saskatoon and after a nice supper we watched a great movie on the many Questions we ask God and the answers to those questions.

These past few days have been great with many opportunities to share about the blessing of our God and how he wants to be our lives. He's just waiting for you to give Him a chance, and if He truly is the Lord of your life and not you, the abundant life He promise will be yours and that's the truth. Our many speakers this weekend left no room for guessing. The life we are living right now is about our choices and our attitude, not the fault of any one or any thing or God. JUST THE ONE THAT LOOKS AT US IN THE MIRROR EVERY MORNING.

Monday's Prayer Time

I know you need prayer. Let's pray,

Heavenly Father we love you and praise your name above all names. Please hear the cry of hurting hearts. Lord we ask that you intervene and bring healing to lives and relationships. We don't fully understand why things have happened the way that they have, but Lord please let your glory shine and souls be won to the Kingdom of Heaven.
Oh Lord, these circumstances are hard to comprehend let alone bear. Please bring your courage, strength and the power of the Holy Spirit as your anointed presence surrounds all those involved.
Send your angels to protect and comfort these dear hearts that are hurting. We ask for patience and courage to wait upon you with our faith and trust. Let us see through your eyes with love dear Jesus, at each other. Let us know that no matter what happens that as Yet we ask this, "not by our will" but by "Your will" be done.
Please give us the "strength of faith to trust" that "you are" in the circumstances. That Your righteousness prevails. We wish to see through spiritual eyes full of faith in the face of all these trials and troubles. Lord let us see Your truth of what lies beyond these troubles. Let us keep our minds and hearts focused upon you and Heaven to come. We love you Lord and give you the glory, In Jesus Name we ask all this. Amen.

Rest now in the anointing of the Lord's peace. Give Him all your trust even though things may look bad. He really does love you and that is not just a cute, saying but the truth. You are loved as a kind loving father loves his child. For in truth, you are our Father God's child. Sometimes, no matter how old we get, we just need a great big hug. Can you see His arms opened, waiting? Do you need a hug?

May the Lord bless you

Thank you once again for taking the time to view our blog. The Battle River Ranch Camp is a non profit organization that is focused on developing trades, life skills and training opportunities for men and women that are searching and find it difficult to get the opportunities needed to develop a productive life skill. Many men and women today have no idea what they could be good at or how to find out their possible skill area or level. We are a faith based training center. Harold and Diane Stephan left a life filled with addictions and bad choices. Their journey has taken them through different twelve step programs and life recovery through a relationship and healing process with Jesus Christ. If it were not for caring people in their lives that never gave up on them or thought they were a hopeless cause they too would still be lost. We would love to hear from you and if you feel this is a program and facility that would help you or someone that you know, or you would like to be more involved with a ministry like this or support it financially we would love to talk to you and would very much appreciate your help in what ever way you can. This is a ministry for those that have a heart and desire to make a difference in the lives of others with the skills and gifts they have been blessed with and have a desire to pass on what they know to the next generation. You are always welcome to visit and we look forward to your input. This ministry is prayer based, and we pray daily for the needs of others, if you have a need for prayer and not sure where to start give us a call and we will confidentially support and help you in this area. You may not know a lot about God but God knows everything about you and He loves you more than anyone can or ever will. God Bless You and Your Family!!!
