WOW 36 Years today and away we go."

Diane and I have had an incredible 36 years of marriage. Six exceptional kids, and five unique and God loving in -law kids. To top it all off the fruit of 36 years of marriage, we are blessed with 8 beautiful grandchildren and another one on the way, what a gift, what a blessing. To look back and realize that one choice can change generations.
Coming home after being in Maui for James & Sara's wedding we are so amazed at how blessed we are. To be able to have all of our family together in such an incredible place where God's glory is so evident where ever you turn. All 21 of us together to celebrate with James & Sara and to welcome another beautiful & unique daughter- in- law to the family.

We just want to thank all of you who made it possible for us to go. So many who have blessed us financially
and given up their holidays to hold down the fort. So many praying for us & making sure things ran well & were taken care of in a way that honors God. God bless each one of you, so thankful to know we can never out give God, you are earning treasures in Heaven where moths and rust will not destroy.

We were so blessed to spend time sharing and praying with a good friend who has been told he may not have long to live in this world. We are so thankful to know that when he does go, whether it's sooner or later he will be with Jesus in paradise & what could be better than that?
As he even said: "to live is Christ, to die is gain." Always the hard part is for the family who loves them to be left behind. But praise the Lord, they will all be together for eternity!

We can't imagine not knowing Christ and being in this situation, how hopeless it would be for us all. Thinking that this life is all there is.

So neat to have family & friends pick up & deliver us from the airport, a great sister to feed us all supper and share some time to fellowship. We are arriving home so full of God's amazing love and care for us.

We are just so thankful for the many saints who prayed for us and loved us and showed us Jesus through their lives. We never want to go back to that old life of drinking & drugging & all the dead end things we thought were so great. It's so hard to imagine what we used to think was fun and how we thought living for Jesus would be boring. The scripture verse that says "the Gospel of Christ is foolishness to those who are perishing but is the power of God to those who are being saved". It is just so true!
We're just so grateful all our family is home again, safe & sound & a little bit brown.

Then to top it all off to spend time with other friends to share about the ministry God has laid on their hearts and to see first hand the ranch God has provided for them. So great to share testimony of the faithfulness of our Lord.

Now as God has blessed the ranch with another miracle as all the pine has been donated to finish the interior of the Lodge we will press on to win the race, God has set before us. So if you're able - grab your hammer & come out to be blessed & be a blessing.

"THERE'S MORE"

"There's more" is a fairly positive couple of words. Everyone likes to here there's more desert and like Diane finding out there's more time left on the dishes deal at our local Co-op store. And when you win something and you are told all you have won and you can't believe it and then they tell you "there's more". Or you think you have to get a book back to the library and you're not finished it and to find out "there's more" time left as you had the date wrong. Or like a rumor were there's always more to it but most folks enjoy the little untrue part. Well the biggest and best "there's more" statement is when it comes to Jesus. The truth is and thank God for it and that is "there's far more" to Jesus than what you see in most people.
There's more hope,more joy, more peace, more solutions, more wisdom, more life, more forgiveness, and more love than you will ever find any where ever. "There's just more". Go figure!!!!

Each and everyone of us, no matter how insignificant or small we may feel, have been assigned a package of goods. A package of well wrapped and secured, just for each of us gifts. Shipping has been taken care of and delivery will never be late. Some packages may be marked fragile and handle with care, others priority post or caution. God is the shipper and we are the receiver if we choose this precious cargo. The load being so precious would have had a league of angels guarding and securing each gift so that all would arrive safely.
Now we all know if we don't open those packages when the opportunity arises, and as fallen creatures we are at the mercy of luck, chance and the latest, What Ever. That would be like making a pot of chicken noodle soup and throwing in anything but chicken and noodles, cause that's what is available and expecting great chicken noodle soup.
Opening those gifts, some large and some small, all are God's gifts to build each of us into the person he designed us to be. By opening these gifts God reveals the real person you are to be as an asset to the kingdom of God. And hope to all the world we live in.
Go on now look at your options and were the choices you have made in the past have gotten you. We have made as many bad choices as any one and we are so grateful that God sets the right choice before us but we need to choose and receive to get the benefits.
But first you need to reach around behind you and check to see if you can feel a bumpy area up the Center of your back, if you can you have a chance. But if you can't, you will have to pray that you get one soon, because "there is more."
John 15:16

How sadd

As I listened to a talk show, they talked about successes and overcoming to achieve, and all the commitment to see a vision through to it's purpose. They also talked about we as Christians love to see someone succeed but we love even more to see them fail.
Why is it we can't be like Jesus and push for the best in ourselves by living lives that reflect Hope. A young man helping out at the ranch spent the night out there with a leader and as he lay on a hill side with the dogs Rapture and Pride looking up at the stars he said to me the next day, I could almost feel God turning the earth. Many have said this young man is a failure. When I look back on my life I guess I have learned a lot from failures. Jesus loved failures more than anyone infact he used failures to bring the greatest hope ever to mankind.
If you think your a failure, Jesus will give you what it takes to move mountains. So don't give up and give God a chance. Go figure!!!!!
