Monday Can't Beat That Day

We spent the day working on crosses and ranch procedures and then headed down to Whistler Village to rent our skis for tomorrow. We met some great folks from Florida and the girl that wet up our skis is from the UK. Her name is Lucy and she said she's here working because after a couple of years in university she has no idea what she wants to do or what she's capable of doing. We told her about the ranch and she said don't be surprised if I come and see you some time.
I've often wondered what the stone guy you see around some times means and some one told us it means this way home. I'm sure some one just modified the real symbol of the way home, and the real symbol is the cross.

Last night as we were down town at the fireworks and weekend celebrations, I was waiting for the girls as they needed to use the washroom. I wondered over to the entrance to an out door bar were two bouncers were working to keep everyone out that didn't have a pass or some kind of mark on their wrist. I was wearing my biker hat with the wings that says Jesus is Lord and after talking to them for a bit I asked if I could go in and they just said yea sure why not. I found a seat by the bar and had a good view of were the girls were coming from. It was kind of neat to watch as there was so many different people and many drinking different drinks but all for the same results to be filled with the spirit of alcohol. I often think it's to bad that we Christians form all the different churches couldn't drink from the many different sources and realize that were all wanting to be filled with the same spirit. All this probably doesn't make a lot of sense but I think we need a good boot and instead of always looking for a problem with everyone, maybe see what we can do to just plain and simply help them.

We also met a girl from Regina that moved to Whistler she misses family and freinds but not the cold.

The 'inukshuk' or 'inunnguaq' in Inuit languages is a symbol for various different things and is many thousands of years old. Much older than the cross which (some claim) a Jew who performed magic tricks died on. Perhaps old enough to have been around when the first Adam was playing in gardens with apples and snakes.
