Friday's Frenzy as we head for higher ground

Heading for higher ground

What a God we serve, He must be ignoring a lot of His regular jobs because we sure got blessed again today. Jim Rienhart arrived with his crane and truck and spent the morning showing James how to run the equipment as he felt God telling him into leaving it with us for a while PTL. Also another load of lumber showed up for the roof package and maybe we will have a roof this weekend. We all know how God works for the good of those who love Him and boy do we love Him.

As we prepare for the Saturday work BEE it is supposed to be a really nice day so if you can spare the day or just a few hours please come and hep us at the ranch.

Higher ground is a place that the real picture, situation and conditions can be seen and observed. Choices are easier to make when we have the opportunity to see clearly what we are dealing with, ahead and behind from were we are standing on higher ground. Our hearts purpose and desire should be to go to where they are than lead to higher ground where we then can see life as it was, life as it is, life as it can be.

YOU HAVE A UNIQUE PURPOSE
We are all so unique and special to God that our lives should daily be waiting in anticipation of God plan for us. But we do need to be ready and prepared cause,
1 Corinthians 2:9 "No eye has seen, no ear has heard, no mind has conceived what God has prepared for those who love him" —
Probably the most misunderstood situation ever to occur is that we each and every one of us has a history. A history that includes the goodness of a God a God that loved us so much that He gave His one and only son to take away the sin of the world, and he is waiting to take you back. Yet so many today choose or have in the past chosen to walk away and trust in what ever feels good at the moment, or trusting in them selves and their own strength or trust in nothing at all and then to wonder why there seems to be no hope. A life with out hope is like a motor cycle with out a battery and spark. It's a lot of work to push that bike every where, you look good with that bike beside you but the only way to look good is by a lot of work to push that bike every where. Why not put a battery in and and ride that machine the way it was made to be ridden and get places that it can get you. That's like our lives with out God, we try everything but never get any where, the brakes always seem to be on, that could also be called pride and ego and when God isn't invited into our lives we will never find the purpose we were created to be. With out knowing the purpose of a life, that life flounders like a boat lost at sea, tossed and thrown every where and goes into eternity never knowing what it's purpose was.
Right now if you feel lost and with out hope there is some one out there that will spend time with you and listen, some one that won't betray you or laugh at you, but will be a true friend a friend like you never knew before. You probably know who it is already but you have been afraid to take that step or make the call.

Thursday and movin on

Incredible pray time with the prayer warriors this morning. With so many prayer needs we had a full itinerary. If any of you are in need of prayer for areas of your life or those you know please let us know, we would be more then happy to pray for you all.

We are hosting a motorcycle rally at the ranch this summer hosted by the CMA group out of Regina. We are expecting riders as far as Vancouver Island to Winnipeg and even a few of our American Brothers so if you ride or not and wish to be blessed by some great fellowship, great folks, great food, great speakers, great ministry opportunities and great ride be at the ranch For the August 1st long weekend for the fun of it.

We kept busy at the ranch today more blessings arrived today as Jim Rienhart is going to drop off a Perterbuilt truck and boom crane for us to use at the ranch this summer PTL.

The Saturday work bee is lining up well and we have a lot to accomplish but as the Lord continues to lead and direct we will follow and do all we can with the wisdom and skills He has blessed each of us with. Including some great food and fellowship. Please come one and all you will be blessed.

So many of you are not able to get out to the ranch as often as you would like or not at all. Many have called to ask what they can do to help. The biggest need we have at the ranch is that each and every one of you would continue to pray for us as we have a huge project that we have going here at the ranch and God has blessed us with His protection and safety as we move steadily ahead on all area's of construction. As we see daily supplies arrive to bless the ranch project and people and businesses to help in what ever way they can. We still need the financial support that we hope and pray our family and friends will help us with. This is a 100% Canadian Ministry reaching out to 100% Canadian men and women youth that simply need an opportunity to develop a skill, and hopefully one they are gifted at to enable them to be productive and positive assets to themselves and society. We absolutely feel God has called us and prepared us for this ministry.

As God moves us ahead, we do need your help if at all possible. Please consider a monthly or one time donation to this ministry and please come and visit us when ever you can.

When God has a plan and like our friend Mike and Pastor Lyle wisely told us just keep your focus and don't let the distractions pull you away from God's purpose. The Battle River Ranch Camp is a non profit organization that is focused on developing trades, life skills and training opportunities for men and women that are searching and find it difficult to get the opportunities needed to develop a productive life skill. Many men and women today have no idea what they could be good at or how to find out their possible skill area or level. We are a faith based training center and our hope is to give each person that comes to the ranch an opportunity to find the skill they were created for.

Harold and Diane Stephan left a life filled with addictions and bad choices. Their journey has taken them through different twelve step programs and life recovery through a relationship and healing process with Jesus Christ. If it were not for caring people in their lives that never gave up on them or thought they were a hopeless cause they too would still be lost.

We would love to hear from you and if you feel this is a program and facility that would help you or someone that you know, or you would like to be more involved with a ministry like this or support it financially we would love to talk to you and would very much appreciate your help in what ever way you can. Even if you could help with a small one time donation or a larger one it would help so much to bring this life changing facility and place of hope to be opened by this fall.

This is a ministry for those that have a heart and desire to make a difference in the lives of others with the skills and gifts they have been blessed with and have a desire to pass on what they know to the next generation.

LORD JESUS CHRIST
I am sorry for the things I have done wrong in my life. I ask Your forgiveness and now turn from everything that I know is wrong. Thank You for dying on the cross for me to set me free from my sins. Please come into my life and fill me with your Holy Spirit and be with me forever. Thank you Lord Jesus, Amen.

We all need and are searching for choices and option every day in our lives. We want you
to know that you do have a choice as to where you will spend eternity and we just like to
let you know that even in those last minutes of life if you call out to Jesus with all your
heart He will be there for you. Just look at the criminal that hung on the cross beside
Jesus. Each and every one of us make choices every day about the life we want to live
while we are here on this earth but very few know about the option we have available to us
when it comes to eternity. God really does love you, Jesus really died for you and the
Holy Spirit will come and live in you. Just give Him a chance today

Wednesday 's blessings

If anyone of you would like to walk or run on a great track meet us at the Servus rec centre almost every night, it's bright it's clean and it's fun.

God is so good as He sent us extra help today as we attempt to accomplish a much as possible before Saturday's work bee and roof raising on the Lodge. The roof on the lodge is very high and steep and will be very attractive but very interesting to raise each rafter up and into place against the 74ft huge beam that will need to be in place ahead of time. Please pray for safety and completion of the roof package.

Our dog rapture is very pleased at the progress he is making teaching Pride our other dog to dig out gophers.

I get bits and pieces of info on the meal to be served out at the ranch on Saturday and like everyone that has so blessed us with meals they are always so tasty, delicious and nutritious.

Yesterday we were so blessed with a supper of borscht and a great desert as Diane has been suffering with a terrible cold, nothing but the best from our God.

Our day was extra special today as we celebrated one of our won Yep you guessed it, it is Larry's birthday today and we had had great feast of left over turkey, ribs, fried potatoes and turkey gravy. Then to top it all off we had angel food cake, does life get any better than that. Three cheers for birthdays. Oh ya we made a new cross for Larry and it suites him well, I'm sure you will all get to see it on Sunday. We do enjoy our selves out at the ranch and I hope that's ok.

Mark also dropped off a 1976 chive step side with one hot rebuilt engine as a project to teach auto body and soul restoration what a blessing and that's how the God that created all we have does it even for the least of us I've heard, actually my friend Larry tells me that all the time, and believe me he knows just ask him.

Melissa and I had a meeting at Nelson Lumber with Manford as he is blessing the ranch with more lumber that will be used for the construction of the new Barn.

We also got to spend some great time with our newest Journeyman Plumber as James has completed his last year of trade school. Victory also was home from college and so we all went tot the movie Soul Surfer a great movie about surviving disaster and moving on to be used by God for greater things than one can ever ever imagine. But for anyone that knows how God works, you know that's exactly how He works. He's so fine, He's so fine I think that's how the song goes.

The Battle River Ranch Camp is a one of a kind entry level trades and life skills development center. Offering an option to anyone that has been searching for an opportunity to find out their area of strength and work place career possibilities.
