As Diane and I spend time each morning praying for each of you we hope that you will allow time for reflection on the past year. The lives you have impacted and poured into, that are and will have a better life because of you.
Whether you believe in God or not each and every day He loves you, totally and completely, unconditionally. So much that He gave His one and only Son for you. If you have never given God a chance in your life, we pray and hope you would set aside every worldly and man made endeavour to find peace and rest for your soul. Give the God of our ancestors, the God of our forefathers that worked the hard ground of this land so that each of us could have a home land built on the freedom to worship God, give Jesus a chance.
The ground of this land is no longer hard and seed is planted each and every year into soft, fallow ground producing incredible yields. The type of yield that our Lord produced in the hearts of our forefathers. Today it is the hardness that has come into the hearts of humanity that are no longer able to produce the caring, loving and serving yields that God has for us. Our purpose in restoring hope to our nation is to work the hardness in the hearts of humanity with the love of Jesus. So that prosperity, peace and hope would once again yield abundance in our society.
So many of us have forgotten that it was on bent knee and blood sweat and tears, and attending a local church, that our forefathers daily gained the strength to build this incredible country that we get to live in. It was not handed to them, or just appeared out of nowhere, they layed down their lives so you and I could live a life devoted to the one that they all knew was the strength giver, the hope giver, the provider.
Don't be fooled any longer, wondering why you exist and for what purpose, all we ask is that you just give God a chance. Heck we give everything else a chance. The only thing that keeps many back is that they are comfortable in their misery and not sure they will like the good life.
As Diane and I spend time each morning exercising to keep our weight in check to build healthy bodies, we also spend time with God and His road map for our lives, His Word is so powerful and gives us everything we need for life and godliness. His Word is so powerful, it says in the Bible it is sharper than any two edged sword.
At the next intersection in your life as you stop at the stop sign, take a moment to think about which direction to head. If you are like us, we have taken the wrong turn a few too many times, but we've learned that we can stop, look around, turn around, and head back. And by heading back you'll be ahead, when it is the path Jesus has set before you. God bless you each and everyone.
Don't let the coldness of a church visit convince you of God's love or people that just don't understand. Diane and I don't normally dress the way you would expect usual church folks to dress and often we aren't greeted the way we would like to be, but our choice to enter a church building has got to be to meet with a loving God that we believe gave it all so we could come before Him and bare it all. Broken to the core, we are ready for help so don't let worldly attitudes and messed up dogma stop a miracle from happening. As Billy Graham says COME AS YOU ARE.
Thank you once again for taking the time to view our blog. The Battle River Ranch Camp is a non profit organization that is focused on developing trades, life skills and training opportunities for men and women that are searching and find it difficult to get the opportunities needed to develop a productive life skill. Many men and women today have no idea what they could be good at or how to find out their possible skill area or level. We are a faith based training center.
Harold and Diane Stephan left a life filled with addictions and bad choices. Their journey has taken them through different twelve step programs and life recovery through a relationship and healing process with Jesus Christ. If it were not for caring people in their lives that never gave up on them or thought they were a hopeless cause they too would still be lost.

Psalm 23 (King James Version)
1"The LORD is my shepherd; I shall not want.
2He maketh me to lie down in green pastures: he leadeth me beside the still waters.
3He restoreth my soul: he leadeth me in the paths of righteousness for his name's sake.
4Yea, though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil: for thou art with me; thy rod and thy staff they comfort me.
5Thou preparest a table before me in the presence of mine enemies: thou anointest my head with oil; my cup runneth over.
6Surely goodness and mercy shall follow me all the days of my life: and I will dwell in the house of the LORD for ever."
