Tuesday and hold on

As we commit our lives to serve Jesus and keep our focus on Him and Him alone we find that in time we become part of a family that is so close and committed to doing what God wants of us as a family that is fully focused on the same people that Jesus Died for instead of a organization that is no more than well tuned temple operation and industry. The theme around the CMA - Christian Motor Cyclist Association weekend rally was just that as we were blessed with encouragement from the word of God and our weekend speakers to keep our focus on our Lord saviour and the reason He died for each and every one of us.

We can get so off focus and seek self security that there is never room for the faith that we need to survive our walk through this life that God has put before us to walk, we are hope in the eyes of a world the is looking in all the wrong places and attempts to avoid hardship and struggles that always, if we allow will draw us into a relationship with Jesus that is so sweet and incredible that we will conclude that the choice to follow Him is the only choice. riders

As riders started to pull into the ranch the sight was a picture of hope on wheels as rider after rider arrived. Not only motor cycles but semi's, campers, trucks, cars and vans full of friends and family that have always been there for any one that needs to be surrounded by the love and support of a close family.

With the help of equipment donated by Action Towing and Rienhart Developments more than was ever expected was accomplished thank you so much to those that continue to support and bless this ministry.

The worship music headed by Blaine was exceptional and many thanks to LGF our home church for the use of all the sound equipment and musicians that led us over and over again to a place of God's peace.

As usual all the food that was prepared was so incredible and not a person was left unfed. We were so blessed with home made goodies and deserts, Turkey's and Lambs by Kendal Smith and a new huge barbaque made and donate by Jodie's welding. Our new grill donated by Tim the tool man was also a very great addition to a blessed weekend.

The fellowship and bonding the new freindships made and the way God just pulled so many people together was a sight that you wouldn't want to miss.

We have several churches from Saskatoon already lined up for next month and hopefully the roof will be back up soon.

Well more info and pictures about a weekend of incredible blessings tomorrow, good night and God bless each and every one of you.

We need to begin for the hour is late. We have lost ourselves in useless distractions. We have uselessly agonized over our unfulfillment.

We do not need more things. You. Me. We need less emptiness in our hearts. We need less dishonesty. With ourselves. With others.

We need to sanctify ourselves in God's love. Because we are nothing without Him– if we, ourselves, are not love. Because God's love is, and has always been, and will always be – what we are. Wait and seek for no one and nothing else!

Do I deceive myself when I allow myself to feel my deep hunger for God's love? Do you?

Has not love been everything for me – when I allowed myself to feel truly the things that I feel? It's JESUS I need.

And yet, nothing I could do would purchase it and my happiness. With one single exception – to accept His love.

Helping others brings good feelings to the giver and the reciever of the good deeds. Using your special gifts to help others can be a gift to yourself as you enjoy a self esteem boost for making others’ lives better, and make the world a better place. You feel more worthy of good deeds yourself, your trust in the decency of people is reinforced, and you feel more connected to yourself and to others. In fact, research shows that those who demonstrate more altruistic social interest tend to enjoy higher levels of mental health, above and beyond the practical benefits of receiving help and other known psychospiritual, stress, and demographic factors that you would expect.

Creating a balanced lifestyle that includes service to others can help you feel less stress as well, as you feel more connected to God, more grateful for what you have, and less invested in the ‘rat race’ that causes stress for so many of us. The following articles can give you ideas and resources for how to create a life that includes more helping others.
