Please pray as we have more than enough snow out at the ranch and nothing to clear it with. We need to get over to the lodge to start construction on it but at this point we are not able to get over there because of all the snow. Pray that some one would have the time to stop and clear a few of our road ways. Our Back hoe is in the shop for some repairs and not to sure when it will be done. James and Larry have not run out of work as they continue with construction on the on the inside of the shop. I guess the Lord wants us inside for a while yet.
I SEE JESUS
One of my favorite songs is an old standby entitled, 'I See Jesus' which passionately tells the story of Stephen, a minister, the Church's first Martyr, falsely framed and accused and tried before the same council that had crucified Jesus.
Stephen didn't back down. He talked turkey! He was so full of the Holy Ghost as he talked turkey, that by the time he'd sheared these wolves, they lost no time in descending upon him with full intent to kill - actually verifying the very words that Stephen had shredded them with.
At this point, you would think that Stephen would be shaking in his sandals. But no, he was still bathing in the power of the Holy Spirit and he looked up, as we all seem to do when trouble arrives. He looked steadfastly into heaven and saw the glory of God, and Jesus standing on the right hand of God. 'I see Jesus!'
Stephen knew that death was imminent. But he also knew that through death, comes eternal life for those who are Christians.
Oddly enough, Stephen's clothes were set at a young man's feet whose name was Saul. Or...was that Paul? But that's another story!
Some times in life, God allows evil to prevail, but it is only temporary.
