Hope

Life is a journey, a journey full of chapters, some chapters full of excitement and new life others with sorrow and pain. Chapters that are lonely, chapters that too busy. All of us are getting older and soon we will be heading home. The book will be sent to the publisher and our life book will be opened at our funeral, will it br a best seller or a flop.

Many family, friends and others have said you Christians are only interested in people's money. Well the way I see it and after years of walking this walk we have seen that everything is about money and the pivotal and key to where all money goes comes from the heart and what out heart is full of. So if the heart heart is full of love for the needs of others than that's were your money will go to. If your heart is full of the love if self than that's were your money will go.

We are a society of comfort seekers if we will be honest we have our own way that we believe life should be. We are either fans or followers.

Just like the Saskatchewan Roughriders they are a team that is built on followers not just fans.

Followers spread the hope amd get others involved.

What it all comes down to is, are we a fan of Jesus or a follower? Followers will build a culture that spreads at an incredible pace. Fans come to an event or a service enjoy absorb what they want for them selves then go home till the next event or service.



We have often wondered why there are no other faith based trades and life skills facilities in Canada, that are based on the fact that God ordained each of us with a unique set of gifts. As we continue to build and prepare the ranch to be a place where men and women can experience the wonderful presence of God in each of their lives and the opportunity to be who God created them to be as a unique individual from the moment of conception. We have seen miracle after miracle when someone is willing to risk it all and step into another person's life, with the only agenda being, Hope. Over our 35 years of marriage we have come from lives of drug, alcohol, physical and mental abuse, selfishness and self centeredness to making every attempt with all we have and all we can do to bring awareness that drugs and alcohol in any proportion or for any reason controls you, and you will never know your full potential under the influence. If only more people would see that there is hope for so many and all we need to do is set aside our way and do it the Jesus way. Who convinces a person that a few drinks or a joint or two can't hurt anyone. That is the easiest lie to believe and there it all begins the breakdown of a foundation. Diane and I have been blessed with so many friends over the years and all of you have encouraged us ever since God put this vision on our hearts and then placed the land before us and now we are well on our way to a facility that will change lives from desperation to confidence and a future.
