Monday and the excitement continues

More than twenty four years ago Pam and husband Bob were serving as missionaries to the philippines and praying for a fifth child. Pam contracted amoebic dysentery an infection of the intestine caused by a parisite found in contaminated food or drink. She went into a coma and was treated with strong antibiotics before they discovered that she was pregnant.

Dr's urged her to abort the baby for her own safety and told her that the medicines had caused irreversible damage to her baby. She refused the abortion hoping her son would be born with out the devastating disabilities as the physicians predicted.

Pam ultimately spent the last two months of her pregnancy in bed and eventually gave birth to a healthy baby boy August 14 / 1987. Pam's youngest son is indeed a preacher. He preaches in prisons, makes hospital visits and serve with his father's ministry in the Philippines.

He also plays football
Pam's son is Tim Tebow

We have often wondered why there are no other faith based trades and life skills facilities in Canada, that are based on the fact that God ordained each of us with a unique set of gifts. As we continue to build and prepare the ranch to be a place where men and women can experience the wonderful presence of God in each of their lives and the opportunity to be who God created them to be as a unique individual from the moment of conception. We have seen miracle after miracle when someone is willing to risk it all and step into another person's life, with the only agenda being, Hope. Over our 35 years of marriage we have come from lives of drug, alcohol, physical and mental abuse, selfishness and self centeredness to making every attempt with all we have and all we can do to bring awareness that drugs and alcohol in any proportion or for any reason controls you, and you will never know your full potential under the influence. If only more people would see that there is hope for so many and all we need to do is set aside our way and do it the Jesus way. Diane and I have been blessed with so many friends over the years and all of you have encouraged us ever since God put this vision on our hearts and then placed the land before us and now we are well on our way to a facility that will change lives from desperation to confidence and a future. We are asking you that if you are able to help us with a financial donation to continue building Canada's first faith based life skills and trades introduction facility we would be so thankful. We would love to come and do a presentation at your business, home or church at any time just contact us at 1-306-825-7734 or 1-780-205-4743 thank you so much.

Thank you once again for taking the time to view our blog. The Battle River Ranch Camp is a non profit organization that is focused on developing trades, life skills and training opportunities for men and women that are searching and find it difficult to get the opportunities needed to develop a productive life skill. Many men and women today have no idea what they could be good at or how to find out their possible skill area or level. We are a faith based training center.

Harold and Diane Stephan left a life filled with addictions and bad choices. Their journey has taken them through different twelve step programs and life recovery through a relationship and healing process with Jesus Christ. If it were not for caring people in their lives that never gave up on them or thought they were a hopeless cause they too would still be lost.

We would love to hear from you and if you feel this is a program and facility that would help you or someone that you know, or you would like to be more involved with a ministry like this or support it financially we would love to talk to you and would very much appreciate your help in what ever way you can.

This is a ministry for those that have a heart and desire to make a difference in the lives of others with the skills and gifts they have been blessed with and have a desire to pass on what they know to the next generation.

You are always welcome to visit and we look forward to your input. This ministry is prayer based, and we pray daily for the needs of others, if you have a need for prayer and not sure where to start give us a call and we will confidentially support and help you in this area. You may not know a lot about God but God knows everything about you and He loves you more than anyone can or ever will.

IF YOUR HEART MOVES YOU TO DONATE :
and help us to impact lives for the future of our kids please;

If you are able to and would like to make a very needed and appreciated donation to this worthy project that is changing lives now and forever PLEASE consider making a donation to:

Once again we thank you from the bottom of our hearts for considering The Battle River Ranch Camp a life skills and trades introduction opportunity, as a option to support financially, an option that is making a differance in the lives of our young men and women right here at home in Canada.
Every donation makes it happen no matter what the size of donation you are able to help us with. God has allowed Diane and I to meet many of you and we want to assure each of you, your donations will be used wisely to build a facility that will change lives for ever.

Psalm 23 (King James Version)

Psalm 23

1The LORD is my shepherd; I shall not want.

2He maketh me to lie down in green pastures: he leadeth me beside the still waters.

3He restoreth my soul: he leadeth me in the paths of righteousness for his name's sake.

4Yea, though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil: for thou art with me; thy rod and thy staff they comfort me.

5Thou preparest a table before me in the presence of mine enemies: thou anointest my head with oil; my cup runneth over.

6Surely goodness and mercy shall follow me all the days of my life: and I will dwell in the house of the LORD for ever.
