HELP IS ON THE WAY we hope

*There can be no peace on earth nor can there truly be peace among men without first acknowledging the King of Peace.*

There was no greater time of celebration to tie together this entire world than Christmas. Yes, there are those who foolishly choose to call Christmas something else but the very fact that the date on the calendar is approaching 2013 begs the question, doesn’t it?
**Just what happened approximately two thousand and thirteen years ago that was so important that mankind re-started the calendar at day one?**  “Happy Holidays” wasn’t born 2,013 years ago, neither was Mohammad, Buddha, or Nostradamus.

The world acknowledges that it was the Christ child who caused mankind to throw out the old calendar and start a new one and a new hope for humanity! When someone tries to corner me about the reality of Christ, I just point to the calendar.
As our family prepared for this joyful celebration, in moments of quiet reflection, my thoughts turn to those who are less fortunate; those who are abused, mentally and physically; children in broken homes; and spouses whose dreams of a wonderful marriage have painfully evaporated or elderly that have no family come to visit. How sad to grow old with no children or grandchildren to hold you in thier loving embrace. Young girls sold to the underground sex trade, trapped in lives of horror and loneliness, many led to believing they where doing the right thing, who can now only reflect on past family Christmases—if, indeed, they had the privilege of growing up in a family where love was the rule and Christ was honoured. Those suffering can and will feel so alone, especially during the  Christmas season. Today as i look around at christmas trees out on the streets and front yards, it's over for so many but for those of us that have built  afoundation

I believe those who are trying to bring hope to this suffering world understand better the immensity of the need. The issues can appear so overwhelming especially during Christmas. I’m comforted in knowing that although there are those whom we cannot rescue today, we can take a moment to ask the Comforter to come alongside of them. I am also comforted in knowing that CHP members are on the forefront of the battle for a culture that has lost its moral bearings and even as we briefly pause to celebrate the Saviour’s birth, approximately 2,013 years ago,

I know that as the New Year dawns, our members will renew their efforts in the battle for Canada.
