WHAT A DAY TO GIVE IT ALL

The day started out no different than any other day. Doing a few jobs for Guardian and then heading to meet Diane for a meeting at 11:00. Then off to the ranch to meet with Larry and Caleb to drop off some supplies and go over some of the work they were doing. Larry and Caleb have been doing such a wonderful job getting work done in the lodge and setting up the new cross shop in the Main shop. Soon and very soon we will be manufacturing crosses again as we are so far behind and there are so many stores that waiting and we're so far behind in that area.
So much snow to plow throug with our little van at the ranch but we made it through and back on the highway heading to unity. On our way to unity we had to stop drilling rig to pick up some tools, And that's when things started to get real interesting. One snowbank after another and one really big snowbank but we did make it through. Soon though we had no power steering and the battery light came on and from there on things went worse and worse. By the time we pulled in the engineers shack we had lost most power and our temperature guage was out of whack we knew we had trouble on our hands. Soon the van died and we were stuck so what to do now nothing more than just give it all up put it in Jesus hands. Well when you seek first the kingdom of God that's where the answers are and within a few minutes we had a tow truck and a friend on the way to help us get back on the road. We have about an hour and a half wait for Jim to get there with his tow truck so we have a lot of times to share with the engineer and his consultant about the ranch and what we're up to. Shortly thereafter Jim showed up hooked up to our van and we're on the road thinking we're heading for the ranch but instead he took us two N. Battleford. The temperature outside was well below -30 and we had a brisk wind and a lot of snowbanks to deal with but soon we're pulling into North Battleford for something warm to drink and friends waiting. Warm shop awaited us and we got the van in and started to work on it our main belt at flowen off and the engine area was packed with snow. After getting the belt back on and getting the battery charged and the engine started we found we had no front heater fan. Without hesitation God provided more help when a friend donated their van and would take ours for repairs the next morning and get it fixed God is so incredibly good. So there we were 1 AM in the morning heading from North Battleford Dodsland almost 2 Hour drive. As usual Diane I spent the timesharing and praising the Lord for his many blessings and the incredible opportunities we had in the twists and turns that only God could provide to make the day of honoring and glorifying him on every way.
Well it's 3:30 AM Time to hit the sack and we are so blessed as tomorrow more meetings and opportunities to share more about the many blessings God is preparing at the ranch to help so many young people to find their place in society and the workplace.
