Monday Can't Beat That Day

Well this was a monday that was full of it's up's and downs I tell you that for sure. After the usuall many phone calls that I have to make each morning I was almost an hour behind as I headed out to my truck and found the battery dead so I gave Joey the call and he was on his way. I lifted my hood and no sooner had I done that and well meaning folks started to stop and ask if I needed help. Lately you hear a lot about no one stops to help any one any more well it's certainly not true in our city almost everyone that drove by asked if I needed help.

Well once we got the truck running I backed up the trailer right into the front end of a newer honda car. Thank goodness Joey got me settled down and I made the visit to the nearest home to tell the owner. Then headed over to pickup a trencher for the electrical lines that we need to bury today after that to Ecole electric and getting out of the truck I noticed a bit of smoke around my truck and on checking closer found that I forgot to take off my e brake.

Well we finally got out of the city and on our way out to the ranch and on arrival we were met by a couple from Gana that attended school in Caronport and are here for a visit, they landed in Calgary and came to see the ranch first. What a blessing to have Dr.'s Sammy and Winny Nduma bless us this morning and what a great prayer time we had before they left. Some day we hope to have guests from Gana staying and learning at the Ranch. Simon Wells was taking extra good care of them and was great to see Simon again. Simon and Sam took a bit of time to help me unload the trencher and spools of wire on the trailer.

After our guest had left I headed over by the horses and found prince limping and something was wrong with his left front leg, I took one look at it and thought it must be broken but with the wisdom of Dave and Melissa they told me later that it looks like misty gave him a good boot and it may take a day or so to get back to normal.

Laurence came out to help today and spent the day operating the trencher for us.

Merv showed up with his big rig full of Coke supplies and we now are the real thing and have our own Coke Machine.

Later in the afternoon Pastor Martin from Onion Lake dropped in to have a look around. He said I've heard so much but this is more than I ever expected, God is so good he said over and over again. He is getting a new church made of logs for Onion Lake and needs some one to put the metal roof on. So please pray that the right person will be found to get the roof on.

Our days can start out not exactly the way we expect or want but know full well that when we stop and deal with the situation and turn it all into the hands of Jesus the peace will come, and what a joy that is. Thank you Jesus

Numbers 6:24-26 (NIV)

24 " ' "The LORD bless you
and keep you;

25 the LORD make his face shine upon you
and be gracious to you;

26 the LORD turn his face toward you
and give you peace." '

Monday's Prayer Time

We all need prayer so join us and let's pray,

Heavenly Father we love you and praise your name above all names. Please hear the cry of hurting hearts. Lord we ask that you intervene and bring healing to lives and relationships. We don't fully understand why things have happened the way that they have, but Lord please let your glory shine and souls be won to the Kingdom of Heaven.
Oh Lord, many are in circumstances that are hard to comprehend let alone bear. Please bring your courage, strength and the power of the Holy Spirit as your anointed presence surrounds all those involved.
Send your angels to protect and comfort these dear hearts that are hurting. We ask for patience and courage to wait upon you with our faith and trust. Let us see through your eyes with love dear Jesus, at each other. Let us know that no matter what happens that as we ask this, "not by our will" but by "Your will" be done.
Please give us the "strength of faith to trust" that "you are" in the circumstances. That Your righteousness prevails. We wish to see through spiritual eyes full of faith in the face of all these trials and troubles. Lord let us see Your truth of what lies beyond these troubles. Let us keep our minds and hearts focused upon you and Heaven to come. We love you Lord and give you the glory, In Jesus Name we ask all this. Amen.

Rest now in the anointing of the Lord's peace. Give Him all your trust even though things may look bad. He really does love us and that is not just a cute, saying but the truth. You are loved as a kind loving father loves his child. For in truth, you are our Father God's child. Sometimes, no matter how old we get, we just need a great big hug. Can you see His arms opened, waiting? Do you need a hug?
Than come see us at the ranch.

May the Lord bless you and keep you
