Monday Can't Beat That Day

We work, we play, we study, we learn, we persevere, we trust, we are disappointed and lost, and then one day we walk away from it all, and give it all to God. We then use our experiences and gifts to do what God calls us to do above all else. To be the evidence of the love He wants every one to experience in this life. Nothing can take the place of that moment when we surrender our lives completely into the hands of a loving savior. Possibly the next greatest moment is when a friend of ours and his wife, that have not attended a church, ask if they can join us at church Sunday.

Diane and I are the furthest thing from knowing all the right words and area's of the bible to know just at the right time, often we don't even know how to pray right or say the right words like so many people that we know and admire for their wisdom and skills. But God does even use regular, ordinary folks like us sometimes to impact lives with His love. Go figure!!!

"Amazing Grace, how sweet the sound,
That saved a wretch like me....
I once was lost but now am found,
Was blind, but now, I see.

T'was Grace that taught...
my heart to fear.
And Grace, my fears relieved.
How precious did that Grace appear...
the hour I first believed.

Through many dangers, toils and snares...
we have already come.
T'was Grace that brought us safe thus far...
and Grace will lead us home.

The Lord has promised good to me...
His word my hope secures.
He will my shield and portion be...
as long as life endures.

Yea, when this flesh and heart shall fail,
and mortal life shall cease,
I shall possess within the veil,
a life of joy and peace.

When we've been here ten thousand years...
bright shining as the sun.
We've no less days to sing God's praise...
then when we've first begun

"Amazing Grace, how sweet the sound,
That saved a wretch like me....
I once was lost but now am found,
Was blind, but now, I see.

My chains are gone
I've been set free
My God my savior has ransomed me
And like a flood His mercy reigns
Unending love, Amazing grace.

John 3:16-21

16 For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life. 17 For God did not send his Son into the world to condemn the world, but to save the world through him. 18 Whoever believes in him is not condemned, but whoever does not believe stands condemned already because they have not believed in the name of God’s one and only Son. 19 This is the verdict: Light has come into the world, but people loved darkness instead of light because their deeds were evil. 20 Everyone who does evil hates the light, and will not come into the light for fear that their deeds will be exposed. 21 But whoever lives by the truth comes into the light, so that it may be seen plainly that what they have done has been done in the sight of God.
