As we spent time with a young woman today she shared of an encounter she had with a student and after she spent time with God to seek his wisdom and peace this was her reply. Thank you Sam for letting us share in three parts you reply as the blog.

Samara BallFebruary 8, 2011 at 11:16am You think my faith is not challenged? 1. You think I am only taught, and I do obediently? You think i have a lot of growing to do, ( i do), and am un-experienced of this world? I have lived my life for God because i chose to, not because someone told me to, but i chose. My faith is challenged every day, just because i have not fallen into this world is proof of just how strong my faith in God, His written word, audible voice and spirit is. In these I trust! How can i convince you that i am made of God and his spirit resides in me because of MY chose to let Him into my life! Was it not you who said you liked me because of my faith in God and the love i have for Him. Was it not you , and now you question whether it is true or not. You may believe as you will, but if you say my faith is because what my family says, i will leave you. Because if that statement is true, then what you fell in love with is also false, and therefore leaving you. We have no choose but to leave one another, because we do not believe in the same Father! The one that I serve, love and obey, tells me not to be unequally yoked with someone, even in faith this applies. I have said this many times to others and i have left because my Father told me so. You can choose to argue about what things may mean, and what you think about them, and what others may think so be it. But this i challenge you ; who do you serve, this day for as me and my house we will serve the Lord. (read Titus 1:6-9) this describes my family. (read Titus 3:9) this talks about foolish arguing. Why do you challenge the faith of my family, three generations have strived to learn and obey God. I have three generations of foundational teaching being poured into me every day! And each and every word i hear for they don’t just speak these things to me, they have shown these things to me. I see with my own eyes the work of God though there lives. I have lived by what i am taught, but i have experienced God in every thing i do! When i am scared i run to my father and cry out, you have seen me do so before. I am a child a lost sheep in a big field, and the safest place to run is to my masters, mother, father, family. I am a child of God and rely on him!! One of my favourite sayings is “God dose not have grandchildren” it means that if someone say “ my parents are Christian then i must be to” but they don’t know God. Because if you know God, you are his child and Not his grandchild! I can’t tell you, so you must see for yourself my fathers works with in me! What Bible do you read, that yours tells you, that listening to your parents is foolish and unwise. For the one i read tells me that it is wise and knowledgeable to listen to your parent’s instruction. Hear are a few verses that tell me so, (Proverbs 1:8, 20:20,30:17,6:20, 7:1, 23:22, Exodus 20:12, Leviticus 19:3, detaronameys 27:16, Isaiah 45:16, Mathew 15:4, 10:22, Ephesians 16:2, 6:1, 1 timothy 5:4, collations 3:20) You challenge me every time you say my faith has gone unchallenged, you continue to challenge me. You will find out just how strong my individual faith in God the farther, Christ Jesus, and the holy spirit is. This faith has grounded in me! You who is suppose to be my support has become the barrier i have to cross. The one i wish to turn to for help and support in the future is so far from me. I can not help but to love you God has set it within me to love you. But hear my prayer for you. God i pray that he will fall on his knees and cry out to You, in mind, body and spirit! That his eyes will be open and his ears allowed to hear. Make his heart ready for the discomfort of faith in You, for the unsureity that only you can solve and for wisdom to except instruction like a child accepts instruction from there father. That his faith will be challenge like mine has with every passing day. And that he will stand solely on Your word, and faith in you, to fight the battles that the world will though at him! God bless him, be with him comfort him and lead him in truth and not in the ways of perverted truths. I love you but God loves you more this I pray Amen! Our hope and prayer is to let as many of you know about the ranch as possible so that the hope it will bring and the lives it will change and the encouragement it will provide can start as soon as possible. The ranch will be a one of a kind facility and will offer an option to many like no other. When God has a plan and like our friend Mike and Pastor Lyle wisely told us just keep your focus and don't let the distractions pull you away from God's purpose. The Battle River Ranch Camp is a non profit organization that is focused on developing trades, life skills and training opportunities for men and women that are searching and find it difficult to get the opportunities needed to develop a productive life skill. Many men and women today have no idea what they could be good at or how to find out their possible skill area or level. We are a faith based training center and our hope is to give each person that comes to the ranch an opportunity to find the skill they were created for. Harold and Diane Stephan left a life filled with addictions and bad choices. Their journey has taken them through different twelve step programs and life recovery through a relationship and healing process with Jesus Christ. If it were not for caring people in their lives that never gave up on them or thought they were a hopeless cause they too would still be lost. We would love to hear from you and if you feel this is a program and facility that would help you or someone that you know, or you would like to be more involved with a ministry like this or support it financially we would love to talk to you and would very much appreciate your help in what ever way you can.
