Such a great feeling to see the walls going up on the lodge and as I travel around our great community so many want to know what they can do to help. The purpose and direction of the ranch as a place to get our young men and women safely into the area of trades and life skills is getting closer all the time. A call from out of town today and a contractor wanting to know if we need equipment. Emco wanting a list of the materials needed for the plumbing on the lodge as they are going to see what they can do to help us with this project also. Our days are filled with anticipation and gratitude that God is preparing the hearts of so many and most are allowing them selves to be used to build the kingdom of God and to be an asset to our community in ways that will impact lives, families, businesses. We all have the opportunity to be what Jesus meant us to be to a world so desperate for hope.
Behold, I send you forth as sheep in the midst of wolves; be ye therefore wise as serpents, and harmless as doves. Matthew 10:16 (KJV)
Living in this world is a challenge and yes, evil lurks around us.Many roadblocks pop up, especially it seems, when sharing the message of HOPE. It is without doubt the prayers of the righteous that keeps us moving forward.Be encouraged, never give up, for we are making a difference in those we meet and may we continue to share our hope that our government will return to its Biblical roots.
“Have I not commanded you? Be strong and courageous. Do not be terrified; do not be discouraged, for the Lord your God will be with you wherever you go.” Josh 1:9 (NIV) The Holy Spirit, gentle but powerful, is able to produce the qualities,as we yield our lives to Him.We are to be clothed not only with the garment of salvation but also with the garments of love and Christian service, as Jesus commands us: "Be dressed ready for service." Luke 12:35 NIV Then, we may be a light sent forth to shine in this lost and dark world.
Stand firm,my friends,
Thank you Louise. CHP
Not every one likes hard work but that's what it takes to build the Kingdom of God. We are so excited about the work our Lord has placed before us as we know there is a huge harvest on the way. I remember years ago starting our business and asking some others if they would like to be involved but they said no that's too much like work but once the hard work was done and the money and jobs started to roll in, every one wanted to be apart of the action.
There's always hard work and commitment to a plan that will reap great rewards and even greater when it's the Kingdom of God that we are a part of building. But it seems the same attitude is evident no matter what the out come or reward, when it comes to commitment, sacrifice and hard work, most will look the other way or find a good reason to stay away. Had a friend recently say "I can see why God chose you to build this ranch, you got nothing to loose."
Matthew 19: 20,21,22 NIV
20 “All these I have kept,” the young man said. “What do I still lack?”
21"If you want to give it all you've got," Jesus replied, "go sell your possessions; give everything to the poor. All your wealth will then be in heaven. Then come follow me." 22That was the last thing the young man expected to hear. And so, crest-fallen, he walked away. He was holding on tight to a lot of things, and he couldn't bear to let go.
Go ahead and give your heart a chance
