Friday's Floor pour

Our Friday was the busiest day the ranch has ever seen to date. We ended up pouring all 74 meters of concrete. We got off to a good start by 8:00 am , we defiantly needed the hand of God over us to pull this day off safely. With 4 wheel barrows ready and set to go off we were and as we worked through the pour and the perfect weather of the day the girls fed us very well. Spiro's supplied pizza's for the day as well as food continued to come or be delivered from others. We had home made pies, apple crisp, ice cream, Lasagna, sandwiches, and so much to drink, wow what a blessing. Pastor Lyle was so right when he said when the blessings are needed they will be there. We were so blessed with help all day Joan came with food, she cleaned up the kitchen and made coffee then she jumped up on to the pay loader that she has operated a lot before and did a great job of leveling out the area were we did a lot of trenching.

Jacque and Claude two incredible concrete workers took the day off from their busy schedule to help us do the pour and boy did they know their stuff and did we ever appreciate their help. James did a great job of supervising and directing us, all of his planning ahead was worth it all.

Load after load we continued as the floor area soon was filled with concrete by 6:00pm but hen it took us till 7:00 am the next morning to complete the power troweling.

One of the helpers that had heard about the ranch but this was his first time out to see and help asked me when we got a bit of a break, who donates a building like this, or all this concrete or any of the donations that you have here. The only answer was of course God is the only one that can prepare people to do these kinds of blessing and they too will be blessed for what they are doing.

FRIDAY'S PRAYER

O Dear Lord,
grant that I may not so much seek to be consoled
as to console;
to be understood as to understand;
to be loved as to love.

For it is in giving that we receive;
It is in pardoning that we are pardoned,
and it is in dying that we are born to eternal life.
