Saturday So Blessed

Just when you think that every one has given up and tired of working out at some way out in the country ranch. Once again as every Saturday the saints arrive and the Lords work gets done in the most exciting, fun and blessed way that none of us could ever imagine could happen. Working with our hands (usually many hands) gets a lot done as any one can see as they drive on by the Battle River Ranch Camp.

On the way out to the ranch this morning Ray and I were discussing how it would be nice to find some harnesses for the horses but we concluded that this may not be so easy to find and fit the horses, espeially the colars. Sleigh rides in the winter will be one of the real joys of winter fun, so lets see how God works this one out.

As the equipment continues to be dilivered and people like Ray and Jack Olson From Flaxcomb Sask. arrive and are waiting at the gate before we even arrive in the morning.

Princess Auto also had another load of supplies for us along with some winter gloves and clothes for those that may need them. I was told this morning that the regional supervisor is very excited to be a part of this project as this is were they believe we can work together as a community to build a better future. Amen and P.T.L.

John with action towing arrives to continue the cleanup process with his massive units, by mid week all the rock piles should be cleared away and the land restored to original shape.

I remember a skeptic last spring that said how will you ever finish a project like this, and who's going to clean up the mess when you fail. Well thank God for the faithful that stuck with God's plan and thier words to be there for us as we continue to serve God"s purpose and not our own. The world is a mess, ( a non church going neighbor said to us one day ) what a differance this will make, and maybe open some eyes along the way.

Clayton showed up this morning to do some work on what ever equipment we needed him on but each piece of equiment was being used so he moved on to another skill that he has and he went on up to the corrals and spent time with the horses. At lunch time Diane had a great meal ready for us home made burgers and all the fixins, nothing plain or ordinary out at the ranch. As Clayton walked Prince our yearling horse down to the office for lunch he said to me "you know Harold I'm going back home soon and I think I have some harnesses that you could use. It's hard to look surprised any more when God's your provider. So if any of you have any harnesess or know of some one who may have some please let us know.

Doug and Jenette are also helping with the horses as they need people around them so they stay as gentle as possible.

James spent with Jacob working on the electrical room in the shop so they didn't see a whole lo of sun today but did they ever get alot done. And I was able to get water running and presured up to all areas of the ranch today, useing the skills he has blessed us with to make a differance in lives for eternity how can a person loose. Go figure

All in all another great and blessed day out at the Battle River Ranch Camp as we prepare to be used of God in impacting lives in a world full of mirrors that need to be transformed in to windows. As we drove away from the ranch this evening there was a feeling of the God of the universe saying well done and see you tomorrow as I will be waiting. I always remember when Gale said God is so here and boy oh boy is she ever right.
Hey we get home and friends are taking us out for supper how great are the friends that God has blessed us with.

Please pray for Diane and I as we will be doing a full ranch presentation at the Anglican Church tomorrow, wow what a blessing this will be as we present the plan God has for impacting our community with hope for the next generation. It's in our hands, minds and hearts, all we have to do is release it. Yes it's a step of faith, but I've heard the boat is awful full and thank goodness many are stepping out.

Saturday's Prayer

When the world tries to drag us down and the angry waves of life go over our heads, We need to turn to you, our Lord and Savior. You are the rock, our place of refuge and our only hope. We pray that you never leave us alone in the battle. Protect us from our weakness and fears, free each and every one us from our fears and give us the strength to carry on. How many feel empty and alone, without a glimmer of hope, even at this very moment. Let us stand in the gap for each other in prayer right now because we know that God does love each and every one of us and will never abandon you now. Amen. Amazing Grace my chains are gone
