Thursday the day of change

Our day started a bit late today but as we remember those that gave so much so we could-------

We could all sit back and talk about what could happen, what should happen, what might happen or what did happen but what did we do to make it happen. Each and every one of us has been blessed by God and God alone with the tools to be Christ through us and make a difference in this world. When I think of all the soldiers that went to war and fought for freedom and hope, they could have stayed home and talked about it or argued about it, even could have listened to others and just prayed about it (God knows we need prayer warriors). Jesus prayed to His father for wisdom, strength, and courage to do His fathers will and then went out and got the job done. Jesus was told he was working for the devil and blasphemous, but He knew what had to be done and kept his focus were it needed to be. I heard a saying that there were no atheists in the trenches.

Can you even begin to imagine what the Kingdom of God would be like if we weren't so preoccupied with our own safety, reputation and financial situation first, than see if the Kingdom of God is a worthy investment or personal risk.

Not one soldier including Diane's dad fought for themselves, but put their lives on the front lines for all of us.

Saint Theresa's Prayer

May today there be peace within. May you trust God that you are exactly where you are meant to be.May you not forget the infinite possibilities that are born of faith. May you use those gifts that you have received, and pass on the love that has been given to you to those in the world that you live in. May you be confident knowing you are a child of God blessed with many gifts. Let this presence settle into your bones, and allow your soul the freedom to sing, dance, praise and love and construct lives for eternity. It is there for each and every one of us. Don't miss it.

  1. Amen my brother, I am so thankful for the price our soldiers past and present have sacrificed for our freedoms. In other countries what you are doing out on the ranch would be illegal, imagine that... but in our country, thank God we still have freedom of religion and praise God how you can reach so many people through the camp and your family. God Bless you Harold, Diane and Family! Btw... thank God as well, no snow out here yet, still riding the bike :) Bless you guys!
