Well another prairie weather change, yesterday no snow and working outside is great, today we can barely see across the road, lots of snow everywhere and more kept coming all day long. We had to dress warm, but we had so much to do that we stayed warm. It's hard to believe that a person can have so much fun even when it is so cold but the Lord provided more kitchen equipment for the ranch so we are more than excited to pick it up and eventually put it to good use.
Russel from the gas company stepped in from the cold and I was getting coffee ready he asked about what we were building, so I took time to explain what we hoped to accomplish and provide once we get up and going. Russel, a 25 year old construction worker only asked, "why was there not something like this when I was looking and couldn't figure out what I could get into or even do." He encouraged us and said he would be back some day to see how we are doing.
Once we got back out to the ranch and checked the horses James and Larry took to unloading the load and I ran around the ranch sealing doors that were letting in a lot of snow and wind. Starting from scratch and building a ranch is without a doubt very challenging but so rewarding. P.T.L.
PRAYER FOR OUR WIVES
Help her to crave time every day to spend with You in Your word, bathed in the Holy Spirit, prayer and praise. May Your Spirit abide in her, so that when she prays You will fill her with the desire of her heart and that is an over flow of Your Spirit. Help her to draw nearer to you each and every day. May she turn to you for everthing as you become her constant companion. Give her discernment and revelation and enable her to hear Your voice instructing her. Help her to stay focused on You, no matter how great the challenges of life are around her, so that she never strays off the path you have for her. Please Lord as her husband and friend, keep me aware always of when she needs a fresh filling of Your Spirit so that I will pray for her.
I know it is important to her heart to be a Godly example to her friends and family, so give her patience with everyone she encounters. Help her to be so filled with Your Holy Spirit that people sense Your presence when they are in her presence. I know she wants to serve You, but help her to understand when to say no if she is being asked to do more than she should. May she glorify You in her life in all she does, says, and thinks.
In the name of The Father And The Son And The Holy Spirit Amen
