Saturday surprise

Out of town by 7:30 and heading to the ranch for, it's our first Ranch work day and we are hoping we get some friends out to help with all the work that needs done. Well by the time we got to the ranch we had folks waiting at the gate and no sooner did we get the gate open and the cars and trucks started to roll in.

Greg and James took a look at how they would start on the forms for the support pads, while Peg and Jenn started to oil grade beam forms.

No sooner was everyone rolling in and the work started to happen. Melissa took care of those that headed towards the new shop, and Larry got a crew working on the trees. Joey got the water system going and the water truck up to the trees. Our local sheep sheerer took on the job of carrying the hole auger all day and dug hole after hole. His daughter Lila took care of pictures for the day. Gor and Daph and the kids went on over to help plant trees while Les started to add sand to the pads.

Diane and Peg helped Gale as they put on a wonderful meal for everyone even though we had to eat outside in the snow that within minutes turned into sunshine again. The weather was a bit odd but the hearts were so warm and every one was so hard working and having a good time that the weather was hardly a factor.

Our new fire pit was the best and with the fire a blazing everyone kept good and warm

Even the little ones had a turn at picking rocks and a ride on the trailer that was a hit to all of them.

Our first pad form mostly done by Melissa and Lilla and what a perfect jod it was.

Larry showing off again he even thoght we should sn this picture to Steve as proof that he'd better not mess with these pipes

James and Joey kept all the forms level and inplace

Caleb made his rounds cleaning out the pad pits

Brock and Less worked together to make sure the sand was properly packed and rocks were out of the way.

Cameran was a machine on the skill saw and kept up with all the stakes that were needed

James could never have kept up with out the compatent help of these two helpers of his. All in all we had a great day and a lot was accomplished as we worked together as workmaen approved and not ashamed.

Thank you to everyone for all your help.

2 Timothy 2:15
Do your best to present yourself to God as one approved, a workman who does not need to be ashamed and who correctly handles the word of truth.
