Wednesday Report

The day started with a trip to Emco to pick up underground pipe for the water mains and then off to Brock White to get concrete supplies and then out to the ranch. Once we got to the ranch first thing needing to be done was to take a minute and pray for all that had to be done. It was already 10:30 and still no helper or backhoe, I just needed to get these holes dug for the piles and pads under the main shop grade beam. To leave it another day would just put everything another day behind, so I prayed, "God you need to help me with this situation." I then grabbed a shovel to see if I could drain some standing water in the work area and I looked up and there was Mark pulling into the yard. What a great sight, and answer to prayer, then no sooner was he parked when I could hear the sound of a big truck and sure enough it was Dave and his backhoe. So we were going to get something done today for sure. The day went well and we got all the holes done and the work area cleaned up. Dave sure knows how to run that backhoe and did he ever hit piles of rocks everywhere. Once we got the holes all done Jeff showed up and gave us a hand unloading the water line pipe and a few other supplies.

Got back to town and Diane had a great supper ready and boy was I ready for that.
Lots of praise reports also. People phoning, letting us know they want to come help out Saturday for the Ranch work bee.
Also a good friend from camp days called and said she'd like to donate her time to help with the horses, doing innoculations and all those other fun things. So good to connect with Tony again and can't wait to get those horses out there at the Ranch. God is so good and is bringing the help even before we need it. He is taking care of every detail and we're so thankful God is bringing this together not us, because every day He makes it more clear that He has the BEST plan and it's not us it's all about Him.
After supper Larry and I headed off to move some furniture for a lady from our church. Picked up some plywood and nails, then Diane and I went over to help Kendra with a smell at misfit, once we got that all fixed up we figured that we deserved a visit to The DQ shop for a blizzard. When we got there we found we weren't the only ones that felt the urge. Kim and Matt were there with the Young Life group of teans and so we had a great visit with them and even a prayer time right there in the DQ. Matt is getting married and boy is that man some excited and we are so happy for him. Lucy seems to be the blessing sent by God to be his wife.

2 Timothy 2:15 (New International Version)

"15Do your best to present yourself to God as one approved, a workman who does not need to be ashamed and who correctly handles the word of truth."

"I've heard it said that there are other ways of getting to heaven and maybe I don't believe God the way you do, but God is God the only being that is good and right and the standards are set by Him. Because God hates sin, he has to punish those guilty of sin. Maybe that's not such an appealing standard to some. But to put it bluntly when you get your own universe. you can make your own standards." ( Crazy Love)
