Thursday the day of change

We have the best neighbours in the area as they drop in to talk and welcome us with their hospitality. Today we were told to come and pick up a new tractor to work our garden and tree area. Today another backhoe showed up all the way from Battleford, and Bruce plans to stay for a few days. Another neighbour dropped in to say that they have a brother that would like to volunteer three days a week this summer at the ranch. Then, as we were leaving this evening a neighbour stopped to thank us for what we were doing and said they would be stopping in when they get some time. We told them that soon we will have the coffee on and everyone is welcome to stop and enjoy a fresh cup
of coffee and we would love to visit.

Larry got the worst shock off the
electric fence ever and not just once
but twice, he was rolling on the
ground in pain and I couldn't stop
laughing, he wasn't impressed.
He also kept busy working the ground
up for the garden and the trees. All the
preparation for this weekend's work
bee is almost ready and more people
are calling every day to come and help.
As I'm working out at the ranch
I was watching all the traffic go by and
got to thinking about all the different
religions and even those that call
themselves Christians. It's like those
vehicles that are going by, they are all
so different, and there are so
many different types of Christians.
You have the Penticostal Christian ,
the Catholic Christian, the Lutheran
Christian, the Baptist Christian, the
United Christian, the E-Free Christian
The Anglican Christian, the New life
Christian, The Mormon, The Word
Christian, The Orthodox Christian,
The Potters Christian, The JW
Christian and so on and so on and so
on.
The highway that goes by the ranch
has about, on average 40 vehicles per
minute. All the vehicles run on fuel but
they are all so different. It's almost like
the many Christians that we have come
to know over the years since we chose
Jesus. One thing I have realized is that
those that chose to be followers of
Jesus Christ seem to be like those jets
that soar overhead way above the cars
and going places a whole lot faster.
There's not near as many plane's as
there are cars but like
all the Christians that I know the ones
that I've seen that choose To be Spirit
filled followers of Jesus are doing so
much and have very little time to waste
on judging as they are so busy building
the Kingdom of God and helping others
doing it with big smiles and big hearts. We are all different, that's why there are so many
churches. Instead of judging we need to pray when we see something that doesn't line up.
So choose today whom you will serve.

Proverbs 8:13 (New International Version)

"13 To fear the LORD is to hate evil;
I hate pride and arrogance,
evil behavior and perverse speech."
