We have been waiting for this day a while. Diane and I got back to the ranch from Hanna about 9:30 am, Diane then took James's truck and headed home to get ready for Terry and Jacquie and the kids to show up for the weekend. Dave and I worked on the water main but boy did we need a bigger machine to work in all the sand. We also unloaded the concrete hopper and loaded Bexson's scaffold to be returned. We were just about to head back to town and down the hill and into the ranch gate came a convoy. Trucks loaded with payloader, bobcat, and one really big tackhoe. Are we blessed or what what a sight as we watched it all being unloaded and Jon With that big smile shakes my hand and he says thanks Harold.
We also have the watering trough in place for the horses and full of water.
I tell you Durrant is quite a help, he came to us shy and not to sure what he could do and now he has no problem climbing under a big old pay loader to undo the chains.
FRIDAY'S PRAYER
O Dear Lord,
grant that I may not so much seek to be consoled
as to console;
to be understood as to understand;
to be loved as to love.
For it is in giving that we receive;
It is in pardoning that we are pardoned,
and it is in dying that we are born to eternal life.
