Our day started a bit earlier today 6:00 am to be exact, we had a rented packer roller and we could only afford it for one day so we had to make the best of it and get the new approach completed once and for all. Every piece of equipment was rolling today and a lot was accomplished, another section of open trench was back filled and there is much more togo.
James and I rebuilt the access gate and we got the inside section of the approach also leveled and packed.
As we were having our lunch a nieghbour stopped in and dropped off enough electrical cable to get power over to the office P.T.L.
Our morning devotions seem to be getting better and better every morning as we are trying to challenge each other in a stronger and closer walk with the Lord each day.
This will be a ministry that each and every one of you and every one that you know will need at some time or other. That's not being boastful or assuming it's the truth. We are working hard at building and preparing a facility that will move many of our young men and women into life time careers or opportunities that they are desperately looking for. The opportunities and possibilities are endless. Please consider the Battle River Ranch as a place that you would like to support with you resources, Diane and I are so busy with day to day operating affairs and our resources are dwindling down. We appreciate all of you that have in the past donated and still support us monthly, but we need extra help to get in a position for winter construction. The Ranch is a one of a kind facility, a pilot project for the need in our nation. Once again we do need your help and if you need to, please give us a call and we will come and explain the ranch plan to you in person. As a faith based facility our hope is that our trainees will realize that God has and will bless their lives if they would only give Him a chance.
Matthew 6:33 (New International Version)
33But seek first his kingdom and his righteousness, and all these things will be given to you as well.
2 Corinthians 9:6-8 (New International Version)
Sowing Generously
6Remember this: Whoever sows sparingly will also reap sparingly, and whoever sows generously will also reap generously. 7Each man should give what he has decided in his heart to give, not reluctantly or under compulsion, for God loves a cheerful giver.8And God is able to make all grace abound to you, so that in all things at all times, having all that you need, you will abound in every good work.Once again with all our hearts we thank you all for what is a miracle before our eyes, and the blessing that we get to do the will of God as we all have the opportunty to make a differance in the lives of those we love. If you can help us in any way at all large or small we will be blessed and will be God bless you all Harold, Diane and the Board of directors of the Battle River Ranch Camp.
