Life and it's unexpected events always keeps us close to God or at least it should.Today we are waiting for our new grandchild and all the wonderful feelings and blessings that go with a new baby. Is it a girl or is it a boy will it have lots of hair, what color eyes and all the neat spec's that you wait to see when the baby arrives. As Diane and I are taking care of the kids back home, we get a call that a good friend that got up this morning and wasn't feeling good and this evening we found out has gone home to be with the Lord. Also that another friend is having some struggles with life and their marriage. It's God that gets us thru these times and the friends around us that hold us up in prayer. As Diane and I read in Acts Chapter 26 about the struggles that Paul went thru and God gave him strength and wisdom to continue on, but he had to put God ahead of everything. We pray that God will be with these friends of ours and their families at this time. Please pray for us and God be with you all as we look to Him for the comfort and security that we need to get thru each Day.
Life is an Adventure to be sure it has it's Trials .The good thing is that as Christians we never have to go it alone .
