How Good Friday can be

Trivial matters: Seems we can get so caught up with all sorts of trivial things like agenda's, self pity our own private madhouse of the mind, and none of it ever seems to get us anywhere, and then the Kingdom of God never gets built.
Definitions of trivial;
1. Of little significance or value.
2. Ordinary; commonplace.
3. Concerned with or involving trivia.
4. Mathematic
a. Of, relating to, or being the solution of an equation in which every variable is equal to zero.
b. Of, relating to, or being the simplest possible case; self-evident

At the Good Friday service today we were blessed to have our church full to capacity, over 1200 people joined us from all across this fine city. Then starting with a great intro presentation by our city mayor the entire service was an experience of God's people surrounded by God's people surrounded by God's love, and His love story for each and everyone of us. I sure hope you all were as blessed as we were to attend a Good Friday Service somewhere.
Time is over for us to be picking apart every trivial matter that comes our way, if God has put you in His plan and you are serious about that calling to make a differance in others lives then the job needs to be done.
Talking to Gale after the church service and sensing how her heart is so overwhelmed with the needs of those in our community that are desperate for some sign of hope. I believe we and the ministries that God places us in are that sign of hope to our communities. The incredible message of hope that was shared by our pastors and the many volunteers today was easy to recieve and now we who have been encouraged by that hope have to take it out to our city, our friends, our co-workers and the world around us. What is often so sad is that many of God's people know that hope, but still choose to carry such bitterness with them, and there is not much we can do but continue to pray that they might one day release it into God's Holy hands so they can be all that God has planned for each of them to be.
The enemy will try to use trivialt matters to destroy God's faithful servants to make them ineffective and unproductive so we have to be aware and remember that, "greater is He that is in me then He that is in the world." We need to keep on reaching others for God's Kingdom and make a difference in the lives in our community.
After our service we had an incredible turkey meal with family and then spent the afternoon resting or shooting arrows in our backyard. Our good friend Moose called today as he was travelling to his hometown for the weekend and shared about how they are praying for the Ranch and the encouragement they get from the blog. We also got a great message from our friend Joe with Joe's place in Moose Jaw, what a ministry to the youth in that community. God put it on their hearts many years ago and has done a wonderful work in the city of Moose Jaw. I remember the days when we all worked on getting the building ready that was new to Joe's place, after outgrowing their previous facility. God has been faithful and sent many believers to work on getting the place ready to reach the youth of Moose Jaw and the surrounding area. It's an amazing ministry and so many youth have come to know Jesus through the ministry of Joe's place. God is so good! Now after years of waiting for the Lord to open the doors of this ministry and location for a trades and life skills ranch, it is so amazing to see God now bringing many loyal friends and supporters to build this ministry for God's glory. We are set to get building this Ranch for the Kingdom of God.

Hebrews 12:1
"1Therefore, since we are surrounded by such a great cloud of witnesses, let us throw off everything that hinders and the sin that so easily entangles, and let us run with perseverance the race marked out for us."
