Sunday-CAN'T BEAT THAT DAY

Our morning service was challenging and very interesting. Pastor talked about many people can't wait to get to heaven and away from this crappy world and the crappy life they are living. Always grumbling and complaining about something or someone. And yet God wants to give us a life that reflects heaven, a life that draws us to seek Him for our happiness not substances of the world. If we are impatient or grumbling about our lives here on earth always complaining about something in our lives than it's obvious that you are not or haven't trusted God for His abundant life, cause it is a whopper of a life. If God's people would trust Him for everything and seek His abundant life you would not need any products the world has to offer to find a life full of purpose and fulfillment in everything you may looking for.

Matthew 6:33 (The Message)

30-33"If God gives such attention to the appearance of wildflowers—most of which are never even seen—don't you think he'll attend to you, take pride in you, do his best for you? What I'm trying to do here is to get you to relax, to not be so preoccupied with getting, so you can respond to God's giving. People who don't know God and the way he works fuss over these things, but you know both God and how he works. Steep your life in God-reality, God-initiative, God-provisions. Don't worry about missing out. You'll find all your everyday human concerns will be met.

The kids and I spent some time out in the cross shop this afternoon as we built a gift for a friend that's not feeling well. After we had put together the gift off I went to deliver it and check to see if our friend needed any thing else.
Once I got back home I was surprised that our drive way was blocked and as I drove up to our house I realized that it was Jessie and a whole bunch of youth that were collecting bottles, cans for the missions trip to Mexico were they ere planning to build a home.
10% of our lives is stuff that just happens to each of us. The other 90% is how we react and what we do with what happens to us.
