Tuesday's Trivia

To get you all caught up on today's play by play action, I'd like to start with this little hint.

"Always end the name of your child with a vowel, so that when you yell the name will carry."
Bill Cosby

Today was another day to remember as we headed out this morning to find the boys snowman was knocked over and destroyed. So I thought I would go out and take a picture of it and when I got out there I found that someone had actually drove over the snowman with a truck. (the snowman was on the sidewalk). Anyway, Diane and I were off to Vermilion for a meeting with Derek at Alberta highways as we need a new road onto the ranch property. Our papers were in order and all our drawings were complete so now that we have done our part we need to trust and believe that God will provide the road that we need. Please stand in prayer with us on this matter and we will keep you all up to date, thank you. We are told that they very seldom allow new access roads off the highway, so here's where God takes over and we pray. The access that is already there is quite dangerous as it is right at the bottom of a chill. We then stopped in at a farm of a gentleman we had met at church for the first time at the Sunday evening service. He said he had a mobile home that we might be able to use at the ranch, so we stopped in to look at it and he was right, it will make a very good office. So now to pray as to how we will get it over to the ranch which is 45 min. away. Our God is an awesome God, so once again we'll leave it in His capable hands and keep believing and praying. We will try our best to keep you all up to date. Also on our way home we checked out Porta potties to rent so we can get some out to the ranch for the weekend, as we are having the official ground breaking to get started out at the Ranch on Sunday at 3:00.
Diane is suffering with a back situation that she got for doing my job on Saturday, cleaning snow off the driveway, so please pray for her as she is in a lot of pain and having a lot of trouble getting around. We have been blessed with our first 250 trees and need some help Thursday, Friday and Saturday to plant the trees. Also, we will be at the ranch these three days cleaning up and surveying and doing a lot of other chores, so if you and some friends would like to help we would appreciate it a whole bunch. Well, that's another day of ranching with the Battle River Ranch Camp, thanks for coming along, God bless you and see you all tomorrow.

Psalm 24 (New International Version)

Psalm 24

Of David. A psalm.
"1 The earth is the LORD's, and everything in it,
the world, and all who live in it;

2 for He founded it upon the seas
and established it upon the waters.

3 Who may ascend the hill of the LORD ?
Who may stand in His holy place?

4 He who has clean hands and a pure heart,
who does not lift up his soul to an idol
or swear by what is false.

5 He will receive blessing from the LORD
and vindication from God his Savior.

6 Such is the generation of those who seek Him,
who seek your face, O God of Jacob.
Selah

7 Lift up your heads, O you gates;
be lifted up, you ancient doors,
that the King of glory may come in.

8 Who is this King of glory?
The LORD strong and mighty,
the LORD mighty in battle.

9 Lift up your heads, O you gates;
lift them up, you ancient doors,
that the King of glory may come in.

10 Who is he, this King of glory?
The LORD Almighty—
he is the King of glory.
Selah"
