Mondays momentum

We almost had everything loaded, one bike on the back of that silver Dodge and three more secured down on the trailer. Darryl put sides on the trailer to protect the bikes from any damage from rocks and gravel coming off the road. It was about 12:30pm Monday, and there wasn't a lot left to do until we were set to head out. We grabbed as much food as we could find room for, lots of water and off we went. We headed south to Lethbridge where we planned to cross the boarder and continue on south till we got there. All we stopped for was fuel and bathroom breaks and by Tuesday evening and non stop driving we got to a little trailer park south of Phoenix, Arizona where Ron's brother lived. Everyone of us was dead tired so we crashed and the next morning we woke up to another beautiful Arizon morning. After a great breakfast we unloaded the bikes, parked the truck and trailer out of the way and headed to Mexico. The trip was absolutly perfect from Tombstone to the gulf of California then up to California over to Nevada and a perfect ride over the mountains at midnight into LasVegas. WOW what a sight that was! We spent a few days in Las Vegas and area then headed back North to Misquiet where we loaded the bikes and headed back home to Canada.
One night, years ago our Dad was having a rough night and I was up with him, it was about 2:00 in the morning as we sat at the table, he kept telling me to go to bed, Harold I'll be ok. But my sisters and I knew there were times when we needed to be with him and we loved our dad and didn't want anything to happen to him. This time though he finally gave up telling me to go to bed and told me to go find a Bible. So after I found one he told me to find Psalms 23 and then he asked me to read it. Over the years I've tried to memorize that verse but I guess it just won't stick in the old noodle. The trip down to the states in the middle of the winter to where it was very warm reminds me of that verse. "The Lord is my shepherd; I shall not want; He maketh me to lie down in green pastures: He leadeth me beside the still waters. He restoreth my soul; He leadeth me in the paths of righteousness for His name's sake. Yea, though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil; for thou art with me; thy rod and thy staff they comfort me. Thou preparest a table before me in the presence of mine enemies: thou anointest my head with oil; my cup runneth over. Surely goodness and mercy shall follow me all the days of my life: and I will dwell in the house of the LORD FOR EVER." Our lives are a trip and we have the choice as to where we will end up, don't wait until it's too late to choose. Everyone of us can choose to be isolated and alone forever and many are feeling like that right now. Why not stop the cycle? We did and not only did our lives end up on a new highway to ride, but the new map we were following gave us direction as to how to raise a family, enjoy life with out drugs, alcohol, filthy mouths and pornography, all the thing that destroy lives, marriages and families and ulimately society, hmm go figure. When Diane battled cancer we didn't have the strength on our own. THE LORD IS OUR SHEPHERD and we hope he's your's too. Give Him a chance, that's if you're sick and tired of it all. Miracle of the day, Terrace B.C. wants to know about the ranch for their youth, Thanks to Wendy, there is another door open, what a servant, what a friend. Be blessed to be a blessing!
