Tuesday
Our baby graduated today and that's the end of an erra for us as all our children have finished high school. It was a happy but yet a bit of a sad day as Victory now a beautiful grown woman will carve a life of her own as she seeks God's purpose and direction for her future. We are salt and light in this world we live in and as a family we will do our best for the Glory of God.
I read about a guy who had a recent discussion with an elderly man regarding salvation in Jesus Christ and the second coming, his response was this: he felt that all people that believed in God or religion of any sort would all end up in heaven one day. He went as far as to say that even the suicide bombers of 9/11 would be in heaven because they were sincere in their beliefs in God. This man although he belonged to a world wide religious organization had obviously no understanding of the scriptures or what Jesus actually taught. Many people go to a certain denomination to have the title but never accept or understand what they belong to or why. So many people have this ridiculous idea about God in that no matter what you believe in, it's okay, just so long as you believe in something. The bible explains this in Proverbs 21:2 how that every man thinks he is right in his own eyes and also in Proverbs 14:12 that there is a way that seems right to mankind but the end results in God's judgement. We must take take hold of what the bible teaches and not merely rely on ones own thought process.

Mondays momentum

Thank you once again for taking the time to view our blog. The Battle River Ranch Camp is a non profit organization that is focused on developing trades, life skills and training opportunities for men and women that are searching and find it difficult to get the opportunities needed to develop a productive life skill. Many men and women today have no idea what they could be good at or how to find out their possible skill area or level. We are a faith based training center. Harold and Diane Stephan left a life filled with addictions and bad choices. Their journey has taken them through different twelve step programs and life recovery through a relationship and healing process with Jesus Christ. If it were not for caring people in their lives that never gave up on them or thought they were a hopeless cause they too would still be lost. We would love to hear from you and if you feel this is a program and facility that would help you or someone that you know, or you would like to be more involved with a ministry like this or support it financially we would love to talk to you and would very much appreciate your help in what ever way you can. This is a ministry for those that have a heart and desire to make a difference in the lives of others with the skills and gifts they have been blessed with and have a desire to pass on what they know to the next generation. You are always welcome to visit and we look forward to your input. This ministry is prayer based, and we pray daily for the needs of others, if you have a need for prayer and not sure where to start give us a call and we will confidentially support and help you in this area. You may not know a lot about God but God knows everything about you and He loves you more than anyone can or ever will. God Bless You and Your Family!!!
Hebrews 13
1Keep on loving each other as brothers. 2Do not forget to entertain strangers, for by so doing some people have entertained angels without knowing it. 3Remember those in prison as if you were their fellow prisoners, and those who are mistreated as if you yourselves were suffering.
4Marriage should be honored by all, and the marriage bed kept pure, for God will judge the adulterer and all the sexually immoral. 5Keep your lives free from the love of money and be content with what you have, because God has said,
"Never will I leave you;
never will I forsake you. 6So we say with confidence,
"The Lord is my helper; I will not be afraid.
What can man do to me?"
7Remember your leaders, who spoke the word of God to you. Consider the outcome of their way of life and imitate their faith. 8Jesus Christ is the same yesterday and today and forever.
9Do not be carried away by all kinds of strange teachings. It is good for our hearts to be strengthened by grace, not by ceremonial foods, which are of no value to those who eat them. 10We have an altar from which those who minister at the tabernacle have no right to eat.
11The high priest carries the blood of animals into the Most Holy Place as a sin offering, but the bodies are burned outside the camp. 12And so Jesus also suffered outside the city gate to make the people holy through his own blood. 13Let us, then, go to him outside the camp, bearing the disgrace he bore. 14For here we do not have an enduring city, but we are looking for the city that is to come.
15Through Jesus, therefore, let us continually offer to God a sacrifice of praise—the fruit of lips that confess his name. 16And do not forget to do good and to share with others, for with such sacrifices God is pleased. 17Obey your leaders and submit to their authority. They keep watch over you as men who must give an account. Obey them so that their work will be a joy, not a burden, for that would be of no advantage to you.
18Pray for us. We are sure that we have a clear conscience and desire to live honorably in every way. 19I particularly urge you to pray so that I may be restored to you soon.
20May the God of peace, who through the blood of the eternal covenant brought back from the dead our Lord Jesus, that great Shepherd of the sheep, 21equip you with everything good for doing his will, and may he work in us what is pleasing to him, through Jesus Christ, to whom be glory for ever and ever. Amen.

Sunday can't beat that day
"Amazing Grace, how sweet the sound,
That saved a wretch like me....
I once was lost but now am found,
Was blind, but now, I see.

T'was Grace that taught...
my heart to fear.
And Grace, my fears relieved.
How precious did that Grace appear...
the hour I first believed.

Through many dangers, toils and snares...
we have already come.
T'was Grace that brought us safe thus far...
and Grace will lead us home.

The Lord has promised good to me...
His word my hope secures.
He will my shield and portion be...
as long as life endures.

Yea, when this flesh and heart shall fail,
and mortal life shall cease,
I shall possess within the veil,
a life of joy and peace.

When we've been here ten thousand years...
bright shining as the sun.
We've no less days to sing God's praise...
then when we've first begun.

"Amazing Grace, how sweet the sound,
That saved a wretch like me....
I once was lost but now am found,
Was blind, but now, I see.
Saturday surprise
A while back I visited a neighbor and as we were talking right out of the blue he said " you know I'm not a religious man but this world is in a real mess and the bible is right about the trouble we are in, don't you think?" I told him good thing your not religious or you would never see the situation that we are in. I some times wonder who invented religion, cause if they did it to distract us from what God calls us to be it has worked real well. If God has called you to a cause do it with all your heart and strength and most of all do not be distracted. As Joey and I headed out to the ranch early this morning we had a great talk about purpose and God will for our lives. We are so blessed to have children that love the Lord with all their hearts and we can talk openly about the purpose and goodness of God in all our lives. What a blessing to have our family to stand by us as we work to accomplish God's purpose in building His Kingdom. Zelda and Durantt showed up this morning also and a lot got done with their help. And then Peggy showed up and prepared a banquet for us as usual. This afternoon Jack from Kindersley arrived and finished a lot of the work that needed to be done on the new approach, soon it will be ready to be used .Chris anb Caled came out for the afternoon and together we got our todo list accomplished P.T.L.
Philippians 4:19 (NIV)

Friday's Frenzy
Isaiah 29:13 (N I V)
13 The Lord says:
"These people come near to me with their mouth
and honor me with their lips,
but their hearts are far from me.
Their worship of me
is made up only of rules taught by men.
Our Father which art in heaven, Hallowed be thy name.
10Thy kingdom come, Thy will be done in earth, as it is in heaven.
11Give us this day our daily bread.
12And forgive us our debts, as we forgive our debtors.
13And lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil: For thine is the kingdom, and the power, and the glory, for ever. Amen.

Thursday the day of change
Psalm 23 (King James Version)
Psalm 23
"1The LORD is my shepherd; I shall not want.
2He maketh me to lie down in green pastures: he leadeth me beside the still waters.
3He restoreth my soul: he leadeth me in the paths of righteousness for his name's sake.
4Yea, though I walk through the
valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil: for thou art with me; thy rod and thy staff they comfort me.
5Thou preparest a table before me in the presence of mine enemies: thou anointest my head with oil; my cup runneth over.
6Surely goodness and mercy shall follow me all the days of my life: and I will dwell in the house of the LORD for ever."
