Mondays momentum

First day back at school and no rest but down in the trench to better understand dirt. I used to think dirt was just dirt but no more, nope. Did you know that dirt left alone is good dirt but dirt touched by man is no longer good dirt and not able to be used as the base for waste water purification? Figure that one out, that's what they teach us. Dirt left in God's hands has no problem dealing with contamination it can do almost anything, but once we try to fix things, or dirt the way we think is better well, for some reason we are unable to improve on the Master's touch.
We had supper this evening and ended up sitting with the parents of friends of ours from our home town, Young. We had the best visit with them and had a chance to share all about the ranch with them. Also a young man was sitting with us from Toronto, he is the mechanical engineer for the Delta hotels, so he and I had a great visit about plumbing amd heating systems for the ranch. He is here to do an assesment on some of the mechanical of the hotel and make suggestions for repairs before something major happens. Hmmmm maybe we need engineers in our life to show us where we need to make some repairs before it gets to costly. You know Pastor Lyle is the best man for the job, as he constantly is listening to the boss as to where we need to improve. P.T.L.

I need to make a confession this evening to all of you loyal blogers. The blogs that you have been reading are not from me, nope the blogs I write are not always politically correct or sensitive and the words that I use are different then the ones that you read. All because Diane gets to them some- times before they get to you. You would almost think I knew Greek cause I have heard that they have no punctuation in their language. Now that would save a lot of time and who can't breathe as they read the blog. Diane says, "Harold, people need to breathe," what the heck does that mean anyway? I never seen dead people laying around because they were reading a blog. But, oh well we still get it out to you and we hope it's a blessing to you all.
(As you can tell by some of the grammer, she doesn't change everything.)

Luke 11:8-9 - "But I tell you this -- though he won't do it for friendship's sake, if you keep knocking long enough, he will get up and give you whatever you need because of your shameless persistence. And so I tell you, keep on asking, and you will receive what you ask for. Keep on seeking, and you will find. Keep on knocking, and the door will be opened to you." (NLT)

Out at the ranch the flowers are buzzing with bees. These guys never give up gathering that sweet nectar, it's what God made them to do.Think about the bee's persistence. In several of Jesus' teachings, He encouraged that virtue. He assured us that our prayers would be answered through persistent and prayerful asking, seeking, and knocking. Jesus highlighted God's knowledge of our needs and His delight in supplying them. Jesus wanted us to realize that God loves being asked -- persistently. As prayer warriors, we need to stay persistent in prayer. We pray consistantly that we will all be persistent; as we continue to ask, seek, and knock at our Lord's door.

Psalm 25:3
"No one whose
hope is in You will ever be put to shame, but they will be put to shame who are treacherous without excuse."

Thank you once again for taking the time to view our blog. The Battle River Ranch Camp is a non profit organization that is focused on developing trades, life skills and training opportunities for men and women that are searching and find it difficult to get the opportunities needed to develop a productive life skill. Many men and women today have no idea what they could be good at or how to find out their possible skill area or level. Many would like to just try a new skill or trade. We are a faith based training center. Harold and Diane Stephan left a life filled with addictions and bad choices. Their journey has taken them through different twelve step programs and life recovery through a relationship and healing process with Jesus Christ. We would love to hear from you and if you feel this is a program and facility that would help you or someone that you know, or you would like to be more involved with a ministry like this or support it financially we would love to talk to you. Just give us a call and we will come and do a presentation that will explain the ranch plan to you. Many are saying this is so new and fresh and the need is so great. Please prayerfully consider helping us in what ever way you can. God Bless You and Your Family!!!
