Tuesday's Trivia

We are going to be busy for a few days trying to fill the grade beam for the shop with sand and back filling the outer foundation. We were able to meet with Murray and pick up the culverts for the new approach. James, Mike and I were able to get a lot of the sand in today about 1/15 of all we need. We also did some ground exploration for seepage conditions for the drainage system that will be needed for the ranch. Also need to replace a couple of tires on Glenda's trailer as they are a bit bald.

We had Ryan's favorite supper today, knepfel. We made a hugh pot full and boy did we feast on this delicious, German meal complete with sausage and sourkraut. (Very healthy, low calories) Ryan has been with us for some time and is now leaving for a couple of months of camp and then off to Bible School for a year on the Island. God bless you Ryan. We will really miss you!

Lateley I hear so many people saying the devil did this and the devil did that and in most cases the devil gets far more attention than Jesus does in our lives. A friend came into my office a couple of years ago and said, "Harold, don't ever acknowledge the enemy for anything ever again." He said that the only way that the devil can get stronger in a person's life is when we acknowledge him in a situation. My friend said, "from now on just go straight to JESUS and no one else in every situation." Well has that been a breath of fresh air. as I stopped acknowledging the devil he shrivelled up and as I called on Jesus in all situations he has become so strong in my life that I would never go back. As God puts wisdom into our lives through others we are so blessed. What a blessing to have wise and true councel.

John 9
Jesus Heals a Man Born Blind
"1As he went along, he saw a man blind from birth. 2His disciples asked him, "Rabbi, who sinned, this man or his parents, that he was born blind?"

3"Neither this man nor his parents sinned," said Jesus, "but this happened so that the work of God might be displayed in his life. 4As long as it is day, we must do the work of him who sent me. Night is coming, when no one can work. 5While I am in the world, I am the light of the world."

6Having said this, he spit on the ground, made some mud with the saliva, and put it on the man's eyes. 7"Go," he told him, "wash in the Pool of Siloam" (this word means Sent). So the man went and washed, and came home seeing."

P.S. I am borrowing a camera as all of mine have stopped working, please pray for wisdom as to how to fix the camera or to know what kind of camera can take a lickin and keep on clickin. Thank you!

Thank you once again for taking the time to view our blog. The Battle River Ranch Camp is a non profit organization that is focused on developing trades, life skills and training opportunities for men and women that are searching and find it difficult to get the opportunities needed to develop a productive life skill. Many men and women today have no idea what they could be good at or how to find out their possible skill area or level. Many would like to just try a new skill or trade. We are a faith based training center. Harold and Diane Stephan left a life filled with addictions and bad choices. Their journey has taken them through different twelve step programs and life recovery through a relationship and healing process with Jesus Christ. We would love to hear from you and if you feel this is a program and facility that would help you or someone that you know, or you would like to be more involved with a ministry like this or support it financially we would love to talk to you. God Bless You and Your Family!!!
