Saturday surprise

Dawn is here from Heisler, again and this time she brought more of her friends (her Mom and Dad). Did we ever have a good time with them! Larry kept busy cleaning up the forest with his chain saw and he is definitely feeling the work in his body but he never quits (till he starts to miss Peg) then he wants to go home (right away). Dale was back again helping Larry clear out more wood and brush, raking to get the foundation ready. We are ever so thankful for all the help today as we needed so much done for the steel builders next week. James could have been out riding his motorcycle on such a great day but instead he worked his butt off hauling sand to the different areas in need. He worked
through the rain last week and caught a bit of a cold and it seems to be giving him a bad headache. Please lift him in prayer as he has trouble working with the headache.

Maurice and Otto kept the equipment going along with Harold and James. They went till 11 last night and started again about 7 this morning.

The women worked hard moving rocks when they weren't busy with food prep.

Great to see Kathy ride in on her bike
after being a part of the Run for the Son. CMA does this once a year to raise money for missionaries in other countries to have transportation. They buy motorcycles or horses or whatever to bless them to be able to spread the gospel more effectively.

It's neat to see the all campers pull into the ranch yard and people staying the night, enjoying the peace that God has blessed us with out at the ranch.

Donna Lynne and her husband Dave have gr
eat ideas and are very excited about the whole project and how God is bringing together the whole vision.

Diane blessed us with a great meal for both lunch and supper and everyone was fed up with her food. Donna Lynne added to the meals from her store of food in the camper. It's great when everyone gets together and shares everything and works together to get it all done.

WHY WE PRAY AND HOPE THAT
YOU WILL GIVE JESUS A CHANCE
#1
Because you have a past
You can't go back, but He can. The Bible says, "Jesus Christ the same yesterday and today, and forever" (Hebrews 13:8) He can walk into those places of sin, failure and hopelessness, wipe the slate clean and give you a new beginning. A beginning with a real and lasting future, full of hope.
#2
Because you need a friend
Jesus knows the worst about you, yet he believes the best. Why? Because He sees you not as you are, but as you will be when He gets through with you. What a friend!
#3
Because He holds the future
Who else are you going to trust? In his hands you are safe and secure - today, tomorrow and for eternity. His word says, "For I know the plans I have for you ...plans for good and not evil, to give you a future and a hope. In those days when you pray I will listen". (Jeremiah 29:11-13 TLB)

If you'd like to start over, with a new beginning with Jesus today, Diane, I, the board of directors, volunteers and supporters of Crossman Ministries and the Battle River Ranch Camp would ask you, if you are looking for a new beginning to please pray this prayer:

LORD JESUS CHRIST
I am sorry for the things I have done wrong in my life. I ask Your forgiveness and now turn from everything that I know is wrong. Thank You for dying on the cross for me to set me free from my sins. Please come into my life and fill me with your Holy Spirit and be with me forever. Thank you Lord Jesus, Amen.

If you have made this commitment and would like to make contact, please call us. We'd love to talk to you and help in any way we can.

We are praying for all of you reading the blog every day.

  1. Thank you for the warm hospitality, the encouragement that strengthens our faith and the open celebration of Jesus Christ! We feel so blessed to be embraced by your love! Now we know how to pray specifically, we see the earth (literally) moving as God prepares the way for Kingdom work. What a privilege to spend time with you both! Take gentle care and keep on keeping on!
