Friday's Frenzy

The day was as good as it gets with the temp about 10 or 12 and no wind. The day was filled with final board meetings and all that goes with that. We were able to wind down by 5:00 and supper was ready by 5:30 so we all ate and every one headed to their own events for the evening. Diane, Rod, Dave and I headed into Truro for the youth and fundraiser event for Hope radio. We got a bit lost but did eventually make it to the church on time, sort of. We set up the displays and they worked perfectly. We had many people taking info and asking a lot of questions. Diane and I were able to share about what the Lord has done in our lives and the ranch vision and what God is doing in all that to a crowd of supporters for Hope radio. Many of the people in attendance heard us on the radio that afternoon and came out to hear more about the ranch. Barry told us later that it is very possible that he will be able to set up a full week of opportunities for us to speak at different churches and organizations so he was wondering if we could come back for that if he sets it up. As the owner of the radio station he has a lot of contacts and he said people were very encouraged by the whole project and are already wondering how a ranch like this could happen in this area. We are still waiting to hear from the church that we are possibly supposed to speak at on Sunday. So please pray that door would be open if that is the best plan, as it is one of the larger and well known churches in the area. David and Rod, members of the CHP board came with us really enjoyed themselves. They had a Christian comedian for the fund raiser so we had lots of great belly laughs. Rod and David even met the NDP candidate from the election that came to the fundraiser and were excited that he was there because they said he is very concerned with the youth in the area. Many miracles today as we were able to speak to so many and to have many more opportunities to do so in the future. Once again thank you for all the prayer support and all that you are doing to help in the building of this great project. God is good!
