We made it home safely but what a trip! The highway was so icy, so we stopped in Wainwright for a break and had a tea with Larry and Peg, then headed back the rest of the way. Today we got to drop in at the Calgary Dream Center, a recovery center that has taken over a hotel on Macleod trail in Calgary. When we left Jim said to expect a call from them soon as they would like to know more about the ranch and who would qualify to be able to come. On our way home we had the opportunity to talk with Mike, the environment Protection Officer for the ranch area. He said that he was out our way in the fall checking things over and that if we need help with anything to let him know he said he would help us with whatever he can. So great the way God brings everything together. All around Diane and I had a great time and we certainly had the favour of God with every meeting we had. It was very positive and so we continue to move ahead as doors open we walk through and keep sharing the vision to everyone we can. Please pray for us as we have another meeting with a pastor tomorrow and that will wind down an exciting week of ranching. We read a quote by C. S. Lewis today. "A man can no more diminish God's glory by refusing to worship Him, than a lunatic can put out the sun by scribbling darkness on the wall of his cell." We believe that we can show and shine God's glory in the way we share our hearts with others and that's what changes the world that we live in. The Calgary Dream Center stepped out in faith and took over a hotel on Macleod trail and are today, with the help of the community making such a differance in so many lives, this is only one of the facilities in the Calgary area to help those that are ready for help to find their way to a productive life. We really do need your help, and even if you can help with $25.00 per month it will help greatly, it all adds up to make a huge difference. We really thank all those that have chosen to suport the ranch, camp project. Please give us a call as to how you can help. The miracle of the day has to be that we recieved an email from a young man that has been following the blog and has been through a lot in his life. He and his family used to live beside us years ago and now we are blessed as Marshall would like to know what he can do to help build the ranch. P.T.L. and thank you Marshall.
SO TODAY WHY NOT GET FIRED UP AND GO FOR IT AND HELP US MAKE A DIFFERENCE BUILDING THE RANCH
