We just finished repairing the last roof top unit on top of the Kindersley mall. I remember as Leo and I carefully replaced the cover of the huge exhaust fan over Brother Bart's restaurant. We had just finished replacing one of the bearings, and as many of you know replacing a bearing of any kind can have it's list of complications and endless problems. But other than a bit of kitchen grease all went very well. As we put away our tools and cleaned up our work area I commented with, "Praise The Lord, the job went so well," it's as if I said, "Leo you cannot have another beer as long as you work here." He just lost it and finished by saying, "you did the work and I helped you why not say praise Harold or Leo for a change." Leo never could figure out why Jesus got all the credit even after I explained it to him many times.
We all do things a certain way every day, and I may not know a lot of things as I' m sure I'm not the brightest bulb in the house, but one thing I do know is that every biker that I have known that came out of the old life and into the new walk, with Jesus as Lord of their lives, usually never needed to be reminded of who it was all about. We know that it's about Jesus and only Jesus and we are so blessed to be a part of and to be used by Him for His purposes, P.T.L. So if you're around a Christian biker he may not say a lot, but you will hear him say, "Praise The Lord," every once in awhile cause he knows where he came from and what he's got now. Most of us bikers are pretty simple people but we work hard, we don't understand a lot of the politics or head games that many enjoy but one thing is for sure, we are very greatful for all that the Lord has done for us.
Today was Awana day and boy our family has seen a lot of Awana days and they are always a lot of fun. Racing those cars that each child took so much care and time in building, is so exciting for the children and the parents and grandparents of course.
We also got to spend some time with our family at the very comfortable and friendly Verses for tea and delicious snacks.
Today we also celebrated a very early surprise birthday party for a very special girl, our Elisa. She'll be 30 on April 6th and was totally surprised, so fun! We had a lot of great food, great friends and a lot of fun with the karaoke machine.
Miracle of the day has to be that we have someone that may give us an office to work out of instead of our kitchen table P.T.L.
Romans 5:1 "Therefore since we have been justified through faith, we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ" AMEN!
