Can you imagine a life immersed, saturated totally lived under the banner of playing it safe. I guess it might not be so bad, one would never have to worry about ulcers or runny bowels. I suppose you would sleep different, also no need for sleeping pills, chamomile tea or prayer. Even driving would be different I suppose you would sort of just drive no real challenge or need for the conquering spirit and you would never entertain passing-------anyone. I remember years ago as I was attempting to build our first home my father said what do you know about building a house, play it safe save your money and just buy something you can afford. Wow that was 4 house ago, and today our sons can build their own homes. I remember when We accepted the Lord into our lives years ago we could have played it safe and sat on the fence but no, went both feet in and all the way across the fence and boy oh boy is the grass greener or what, so I guess what I'm trying to say is, the only way to play it safe is if the definition of playing it safe is putting your whole life and everything in it into the ams and care of Jesus and follow His example of playing it safe. But even that could be more than most can handle. But I tell you, for the time of your life and reason to live you have got to give Jesus a chance.
