Tuesday's Trivia

We have to be living in God's winter wonderland, what a sight to look outside and see the big snow flakes falling this morning and seeing everything as white as can be. Should be on the slopes! Had a great snowball fight with our dog Rapture but he soon gave up. We were hoping to load the trailer with another load of lumber that was donated, but we had to wait until the snow stopped so we could get the forklift over to the warehouse. We are so thankful to the guys over at Redline Harley Davidson for the use of their forklift to load all the lumber. We also were very blessed as we were asked today to present the plan and vision for the ranch to the Lloydminster Ministerial Association. They were all very encouraging and supportive. We were approached by one person that was representing his church, to volunteer to teach auto body repair, another asked if we would speak to their young adults and the another pastor would like to talk to us more about speaking to some business people in Saskatoon about the Ranch plan.
Well, the snow let up and we got the forklift over to pick up the lumber, then Caleb and I got all the lumber loaded and secured down, then we took the forklift back to the Harley shop before closing time. Another super huge blessing to the Ranch is our new office girl, Peggy Huber. She brings her skills of organization and even her niece, Jen. and as a powerful prayer warrior to the office desk of the Battle River Ranch Project is just such and asset to us. In just two days she has done so much to help us get more organized and keep on top of the many duties that need to be done to keep us moving ahead.
After supper we were once again off to a meeting to help organize the fund raiser for Jessie Moffat that God has placed on the hearts of His people to help one of our own to overcome this hurtle in Jessie's life. We are so blessed at Lloydminster Gospel Fellowship for hearts that seek to serve our community and those who are in need. The fundraiser and auction will be Saturday April 10 / 2010 at the Lloydminster Gospel Church at 6:00 pm. We were also blessed with several friends of Jessie's from his home church, First Baptist were he sometimes leads worship. Jessie also leads a young adults Bible study at his home every week. The many friends from Jessie's home church that also see Gods purpose for this event are helping us with this fundraiser. What a blessing that we can all work together to lighten the load of one of our own in need.

1 John 3:18 (New International Version)

18"Dear children, let us not love with words or tongue but with actions and in truth."
